A Look at the 2024 Best Buddies Ball

The 2024 Best Buddies Ohio Ball was an absolute success! The semi formal event which was held at Hanover Reserve Weddings & Events brought together all those in the Best Buddies Miami University Oxford Chapter for a night filled with fun! Those that attended walked the red carpet, had their own personal photo shoots in a photo booth, enjoyed delicious appetizers and desserts, and of course danced the night away! The Best Buddies International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
BCBDD Community Connection Coordinator and Best Buddies Miami Oxford Chapter Host Site Coordinator, Lynn Goodwin said, “The Best Buddies Ball was truly a spectacular evening! The venue was decorated so beautifully. Melanie and Brad along with the vendors and sponsors went above and beyond to ensure the evening was special for everyone. The ball is the individuals most anticipated event of the year, and it means the world to them to be able to dress up, dance, socialize with their friends, and most of all being included in the community!”
This year the Best Buddies Ball raised $10,000!
