I think they were lying about when it was filmed and what happened so they don't look like just ripped him off but I think they did because nothing else about them is original so why would the video
@@AndrewB23 House of Protection filmed their video back in April, which was 3 months before the "Big Dawgs" video released. And from what I've been told, these "Well of Death" type of locations are fairly popular around India, so it's not like it was one specific location (the locations in each video look different). Sometimes in art, different people have similar ideas at the same time, and it's happened many times before.
FINALLY! I SEE ARIC IMPROTA MY FAVORITE DRUMMER OF ALL TIME! YOU GOT TO CHECK OUT NIGHT VERSES!!!!!!! That band is where he REALLY shows off the drum skills!!
It's called centrifugal force. That's what's holding them to the walls. Edit: Yes it's centripetal force. English is not my native language if it's not obvious.
The production on the outro sounded very similiar to Dear Diary's, so didn't even need to check if it was Jordan credited in there. And yeah, these wells of death were super famous during circus shows or other such events back home in India when I was like 6/7 (so about 16-17 years ago). They are not as common now around the metro cities or in the north, but pretty much still a thing. I guess Hanumankind's blow-up song really introduced these to a lot of people worldwide, although I used to think this concept is not inherently Indian and common in West as well.
I've been waiting for this new project for quite a while. At first, I was bummed that Stevis and Aric left Fever cause I'm a big fan of them. And then bummed that Jordan left Bring Me. But then Jordan posted photos with Stevis and Aric around the end of 2023. Like he was teasing something new is coming. And I followed every song release until the EP came out. Now the EP has been on repeat ever since. Never been this excited about a new band in a while. Good going House of Protection!
Ngl. Video and dedication to the fun! 100%. Song? Just okay. Way better than I could do, but still. Don’t call me a hater for saying what you probably think too.
Agreed, the amount of hype I've been hearing made this out to be the craziest band ever... It's not bad by any means but it's not anything particularly groundbreaking.
Yeah, It's Supposed To Hurt is absolutely banging❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥, it's better than this song imo also, but I love this too, and the storytime overlaying the vid is cool af
Aric is my new favorite drummer. Been rocking the last two albums of Night Verses on repeat for a year now. House of protection is a nice alternative when I want some non-instrumental songs with the Aric pizzazz
This is called "Maut ka Kuan" = "Well of Death" and it has been a common attraction at various places of India for decades and decades. The guys driving and riding bikes do all kinds of stunts without any protection and for ALMOST NOTHING. From American perspective, their wages or earnings range for 0.5 USD to 10USD for the whole evening (3-6 hours). One of my relative used to do it for approx 1 USD. Props to the band for not feeling scared in the middle though. While it would've been nothing for the locals, it must've been really insane for the band to stand in the middle.
The most recent report from the country & the city I am from I can confirm that it is real and it’s a very thrilling experience to watch it live! The first artist to do this was hunamankind
Regarding the cars, they're being pulled down, but because they're going fast, their own intertia keeps them going. It's basically the same thing as when you have a bottle of water and you spin it quickly over your head. The water is pulled towards the ground by gravity all the way through the motion, but because you spin it quickly, it doesn't have time to fall. (Also the same phenomenon as the Moon around the Earth, as a matter of fact, the Moon is always trying to fall, but it's going just at the right speed to keep going)
hunankind did the wall of death video. This is like NEW hollywood undead gets blended with bring me the horizon. Gorillaz style verses sure, but thats the vibe im getting from this.
Ain’t that Aric Improta and Steven Harrison formerly from Fever 333? 🤯 Fever 333 was 10/10 with them in it, shame they left but absolutely SMASHING it clearly
Been liking this band. The drummer Aric Improta is also the drummer of Night Verses who are an absolutely crazy good prog metal band. I highly recommend checking them out too if you ever get the chance. Edit: I also had no idea Jordon did the production on this EP. That’s sick.
Since I've read too many comments about centripetal force versus centrifugal force, here's the rundown: If you look from above, what you see is the car moving in a circle. The car is trying to move straight because of inertia, but the wall forces it to keep moving around in a circle. What that means is that what's keeping the car on the wall is the inertial force being put onto it by its interaction with the wall. Because that force vector is always pointing to the center point of the circle made by the wall and it also keeps the car moving in a circular path, it's centripetal force that's keeping the car on the wall.
If you wanna check out a fairly new band look up “Oklahoma blood, stompin nachos”…..it found me through the mysterious algorithm but man they are killer…..the bass players awesome
This song is awesome! I like it! Can you do a reaction review for Sinister Ghost please? They're a new Symphonic Black Metal band from Italy worthy of recognition.
About time ya freakin’ slacker. 😜
Nik: You know you are behind when Tank has already found it, done a video about it AND is giving you crap ;)
Man I love watch your twos opinions and see how they differ. Love your guy's vids. I also love this bands music. I wish everyone to have a good day.

Aric Improta is also the drummer for Night Verses, you must check then out, such an amazing instrumental band!!! And he's a fking incredible drummer
Thank you, you just taught me something and he's one of my two favorite living drummers at the moment ❤🔥🤘
Wow, I love Night Verses, but this song is not my cup of tea
Agreed, HoP is great, but he’s an animal in his work with Night Verses.
I'll give you a like so hopefully this goes to the top comments and Nik finally discovers the absolute madness that is Night Verses.
aric is a legend
Probably still less chaotic than those Chariot shows dude used to play
The Chariot was my favorite live act, most insane show of my life.
I was gonna say. The chariot and letlive were both top notch live performances. Those dudes are a great combo.
haha bro i know ur not a casual knowing that
You just know they saw the Hunamkind video RIGHT after they wrapped production and were "you gotta be f*cking kidding me" 😂😂
Yeah, thats Hanumankind - Big Dawgs nu metal version... I really hate it :-( So many styles mixed, no clear vibe. Radio Rock Music...
I think they were lying about when it was filmed and what happened so they don't look like just ripped him off but I think they did because nothing else about them is original so why would the video
@@AndrewB23 WOW, ok dude, no need for that, everything has already been made, almost nothing is original anymore, you are not helpful

WTFFFF they're amazing holy shitttt!!! Didn't know about them. I love randomly finding new bands in the comments. Thank you!!
Surprised he hasn't done anything on Gore. Ohrion already been on them.
Yo! So glad i read this comment. They’re great. Going to deep dive that tomorrow. If you’ve never heard of them, you might like The Anchor
It's called centrifugal force. That's what's holding them to the walls.
Edit: Yes it's centripetal force. English is not my native language if it's not obvious.
Good job 👍
It's actually the centripetal force involved here. (The vehicles are pushed by the wall towards the center of the arena)
I’m not sure you even know how that works…..(it’s not a centrifuge, btw)
Centrifugal doesn’t exist, it’s centripedal
Well, sorry, English is not my first language. But I can explain it if you want. It is mass times speed squared divided by radius.
Also we have a smaller version of this bike/car driving on wall thing in Indonesia called "Tong Setan". If you guys want to look into it more.
The name makes it seem like you're joking but I'll check it out. Worst case scenario - I'll see the search results for "thong satan"
The drummers verses have a Rage Against the Machine - Testify vibe.
Linkin Park….
Same flow indeed
Still can't get over how good this is!
I love me a fresh cup of nu metal in the morning

@katastrophicfailure99 best video, but definitely not their best song.
You should check out Thornhill! They’re super good personally one of my top 5 favorites, especially on the dark pool album!
This sounds like dangerkids, gorillas and blur somehow combined, but the video is bonkers
I mean gorillaz and blur makes total sense, hard for one to not sound like the other
I literally decided to check these guys out last night randomly thats crazy that the next day nik is talking about it
The way you tell stories is unmatched!
Hey Nik, ya goof! You actually did react to this on stream when it was new! I clearly remember watching it live.

Should also check out the drummer, Aric Improta's, other works (Night Verses and his solo stuff is sooooo innovative)
Hell yes. House of Protection has quickly become one of my favorite bands.
Yes but you have to check The Chariot.
That's where it all begins, that's where it all ends.
Yes! I saw them live forever ago. Amazing band

When you drive in a circle - centrifugal force pushes you further from the centre. So the car presses against the wall and drives on it like a road.
