    As a Zwift rider my self =) I am amazed how different the human body really is .. Now wile my sprint is 1300-1400 Watts at 190 BPM at age 47 .. I would never be anywhere near The A riders at the goal line so I cant use my sprint power for shit =) .. This is the Type 1 rider VS type 2 or Sustain vs explosion .. Or oxygen vs lactate =) Zwift is tough as hell love it, keep fighting Carlos =)

      Thanks Henrik S. in this case I’m the rider 2. I can climb really good and survive the hight pace of A category but at the sprint I’m so bad. So for me to win race I have to try from far away or some time is good for me when the race finish going up.

      That's what i'm up to aswell. I'm at 76kg and can do 1100+ watts avg over 15s and above 1000 in 30s, but my ftp is at 235w at the moment (or 3,3 w/kg). This makes me struggle LIKE HELL to remain in the first group in Cat. C zwift races. Sprinting feels easy on cat.c, but staying in the peloton for 20/30 minutes hurts so bad (185/190bpm average for the whole time)! The human body is a masterpiece of varieties !!!

    Cat A but 200W average peloton watts, and only 800W maximum... something not quite right there...

      287 watts Average or 4 W/kg I think it’s more than enough for a cat A. Us you can see everybody finished about the same watts.

      @@benhampson5482 that's really strange, 4w/kg should be more than enough to stay with a steady rolling A pack. As long as you get through the first few minutes of the race (which will almost certainty be harder) then you should be fast enough to race at least B

      Hey Máxime. Yeah I have a really low heart rate. My resting heart rate is 43 but at 165 I’ll be dying. My max is 172

      That 800 is after riding 4.0 ftp for almost an hour it's not a easy to achieve

      Exactly. being in a cat A race and racing close to 4 w/kg for an hour is not easy to do more than 800 or 900 watts. Especially for a guy like me that I’m more like a climber 🚵🏻‍♂️.
