I recently found impledoll and love some of their older dolls. I am making payments towards the big black dragon dream valley offered early this year. I really love the 1/3 rd scale.
Pear Courage is so cute! I do like the extra vitiligo marking as well to make her a little different from the classic. Excited to find what out what you name her!
Cassidy Coulson...it was the name I had for my classic semi real courage..since I decided to try and sell her I'm just going to give the name to this one..lol
What made you start to collect the smart dolls over the tradition bjd resin dolls? Was it the lighter weight or anime look? I personally prefer the earlier bjd that are hard resin. I can modify them so much easier and i just cant afford one of the smart ones yet. I saw almost everyone at the Dallas doll show with one they were carrying. My first exposure to them in real life. Do you think the chaos of your doll room is perhaps symbolic of the state of something else ? Just curious. Thank you for the video.
The chaos of my doll room is because I'm decluttering other areas of the home and things are temporarily being stored in my doll room. I have a collection of fashion dolls too so I have tons still in boxes that I'm deciding on selling. As for smart dolls yes they are much lighter and easier to pose, though I wish they were 1/4 scale instead of 1/3 scale..lol. I prefer MSD 1/4 size. I think also its the ease of purchasing and getting them right away vs waiting 4-10 months. As for price they are cheaper or about the same as some 1/4 and other 1/3 dolls and come with eyes, wig and faceup. I'm not really a big anime fan but I really do like the look of their anime dolls, the semi real not so much but I still like a few of the characters.
