My take away from this massage is simple: obidients should not make it look as if to say our trust is in a man called peter obi instead of God Almighty. If God has chosen peter obi to be president he will become the President whether the people make an idol out of him or not. Those that are making him their god will answer to God at last. God will not stop or abandon His plan for peter obi or anybody just because of the actions of other people.
Now that it is not Peter Obi, let us hope that Nigerians, including christians days of suffering has not been extended simply bcos they made an idol of Peter Obi and God has decided to teach them a lesson, to punish them, until they know that the most High God rules... and gives leadership to whomsoever He chooses. Most christians truly idolised Obi. When Nigerians learn to tell God what their desire for the country is and leave Him to decide how He wants or who He ants to use, instead o telling Him who they want Him to use, their prayers may not be answered. God has a way of bringing up who He wants. But not until His sovereignty is acknowledged.
