    Can I use the transmitter for the SDI on Red scarlet , to the reciver for HDMI on monitor? And power the monitor with type C? From a USB port ?

    • @RayValencia
      @RayValencia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. No problem converting from SDI to HDMI. Usbc works great for powering these.

    I was having some serious issues getting it to connect on busy trade shows. I believe that due to the interference. Have you experienced something like that with this model?

    • @RayValencia
      @RayValencia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Pedro!! No interference issues for me. I use this in TV studios all the time, although, occasionally I DO get overheating issues where it will not connect whenever I'm on outdoor shoots here in Florida. Especially if it have it out in the FL sun! So I have to Power down and let it cool off.

      @@RayValencia Might want to mention the overheating in video. Kinda suggested these are impervious to Florida heat.

    How are you mounting it on your camera? The bottom part of mine broke 😒

    • @RayValencia
      @RayValencia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been mounting it mostly with the 1/4 20 threaded hole instead of the shoe attachment. Not sure what it looks if your mount is broken, but you may need to Bongo tie it or use velcro straps?

    did you test TX via HDMI from monitor or camera. and RX via SDI??

    • @RayValencia
      @RayValencia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, It is interchangeable. You can loop out of either device with SDI or HDMI.

      @@RayValencia How about the delay?

    • @RayValencia
      @RayValencia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Still less than a second. Definitely a few milliseconds faster if you are coming straight out of camera. Coming out of monitor adds another few Milli secs, serving as a middle man and slowing things down a tiny, tiny bit. From my tests, HDMi was a little bit slower than SDI, on either end, TX or RX or reversed.
