I would like to introduce you to one of my favourite you tube celebrities. His name is Robert Badine. His You Tube videos and yours helped get me through the first year and a bit of the pandemic. He is a trapper and Dene indigenous person out of northwestern British Columbia, Canada. He celebrated an anniversary not long ago and was crocheting a quilt for his wife to celebrate. To my mind it was the most amazing gift 💝 he could have given her, although I haven’t seen it fully made yet. He takes us trapping, fishing and hunting with him on the beautiful landscape he calls home. Robert has a unique way to close off each video he makes, and I feel comforted when he says things like “see you next time, okay? Okay” He is a believer and he is teaching others the Deni Cree way. In my experience my selfish prayers go unanswered. Instead of asking for him to contact you. Maybe try praying for him in general that he may be saved more than anything rather than for him to reconnect to you.

God’s ways are not our ways. He hears your prayers and answers. Sometimes our all knowing God answers differently than we would. Our ever present God knows exactly where your son is. His timing is perfect and we don’t get a say in God’s timing. But He tells us to ask anything in His name…Keep praying. His answer will be for you & your son’s good and most definitely for His Glory. There is no time with God, so pray in faith that He hears you and will answer you. He knows all, He sees all He can do all! I’m praying now for your peace and comfort as you are having to wait on The LORD!
Jase, we’re not under some strange beliefs by believing that women are not to be the head of a church as the preacher. We are under the teachings of scripture, which Jesus/God, who gave us the grace you speak of, gave us to know how to live in this world!! Don’t create a straw man saying that we are only under grace until we meet for corporate worship! We are under grace, as in our sins are forgiven when we slip and commit sin. If a church has a woman pastor, it is not a slip into sin. It is in direct defiance of a command given by Paul to the church of Jesus Christ!!! It’s not a small and legalistic thing. It is willful rebellion against God!! You know this. But you are always quick to judge the “religious people” for obeying God and pointing out when someone who claims to be in Christ does not. That is called correction and rebuking. It is no different than a parent correcting a child. Most importantly, IT IS WHAT THE BIBLE (by default GOD) TELLS US TO DO!!!
Just my two cents, but obviously a real star would have been too large to have done all of that but what if it was an angel appearing like a star or great light leading them?

If all things are possible with God, then where is my 22 year old son? I have prayed and prayed for him to contact me, but have not heard a thing from him in almost 16 months. How is one supposed to believe when sincere prayers go unanswered??
In my experience my selfish prayers go unanswered. Instead of asking for him to contact you. Maybe try praying for him in general that he may be saved more than anything rather than for him to reconnect to you.

God’s ways are not our ways. He hears your prayers and answers. Sometimes our all knowing God answers differently than we would. Our ever present God knows exactly where your son is. His timing is perfect and we don’t get a say in God’s timing. But He tells us to ask anything in His name…Keep praying. His answer will be for you & your son’s good and most definitely for His Glory. There is no time with God, so pray in faith that He hears you and will answer you. He knows all, He sees all He can do all!
I’m praying now for your peace and comfort as you are having to wait on The LORD!

Jase, we’re not under some strange beliefs by believing that women are not to be the head of a church as the preacher. We are under the teachings of scripture, which Jesus/God, who gave us the grace you speak of, gave us to know how to live in this world!! Don’t create a straw man saying that we are only under grace until we meet for corporate worship! We are under grace, as in our sins are forgiven when we slip and commit sin. If a church has a woman pastor, it is not a slip into sin. It is in direct defiance of a command given by Paul to the church of Jesus Christ!!! It’s not a small and legalistic thing. It is willful rebellion against God!! You know this. But you are always quick to judge the “religious people” for obeying God and pointing out when someone who claims to be in Christ does not. That is called correction and rebuking. It is no different than a parent correcting a child. Most importantly, IT IS WHAT THE BIBLE (by default GOD) TELLS US TO DO!!!

It unfortunate -I could listen to Zack, Phil, Al, and the guest they have but it is getting more difficult for myself to listen to Jase. He seems intent on adding "His Take" which is almost always critiquing everyone else, either their religion, how they worship, where they worship, why they wear their better clothes to church, etc. I don't think he realizes that his opinion is his, not the Word of Jesus.
