Wow, Carole, wow! What a quiz, my friend! That I actually watched -- and, in fact, knew -- approximately 38 out of the 50 film titles on your list is nothing short of a miracle, I assure you. Thanks to my passion for classic cinema, and the great stories that Hollywood used to tell (with strong emphasis on the past tense), I managed to keep my head above water on this one. A big hug for you with my gratitude, Ms Carole. ❤😊🤗
@@carolesquizzes -- That's great! I look forward to part 2, Carole, and hope to guess a title or two. Many, many thanks for putting so much work and research into these quizzes. Your passion for the projects you create is contagious and rewarding, my dear Carole. 🤗❤️
All were movies that deserve the classic designation...no ringers like often appear in such videos. I missed four, would have been three but I can never keep the Marx Brothers movies straight.
Thanks - I try to come up with my own lists and not just regurgitate the same ones other people do. It helps that both me and my hubby are huge movie nerds 🤣❤️
82% ugh. C+ I should have got The Third Man and Great Dictator. dang it. Made me laugh to think The Night of the Hunter is a classic movie; it's so goofy. It's sad that so many are increasingly a pain in the rear to find. I saw many when I was 17-20 on cable. A teen today probably does not want to fork over money just to sample unsure if it's something he/she likes--- if anyone can even find them. In other words, no more fun of just turning on the TV and discovering an old movie playing. And because they get few hits, a manager will conclude they don't pull in their weight and will be removed. Movies with less prestige are probably impossible to find.
Yes, totally agree with you and unfortunately, that situation is just getting worst - I tried to watch a reasonably popular movie from 1994 the other night and not only was it not available on any streaming service I have but when I tried to buy a digital copy on Amazon Prime, it was "Currently unavailable" with no reason given... And that's only a 30 year old movie!
My favorite quiz so far, thanks!
You're very welcome!

22/50. I failed badly but it was a fab quiz. There were loads on the tip of my favourite tongue.
That's still nearly 50% correct, so I wouldn't say failed - it was a pretty hard quiz, overall ❤️
We had 26/50 right today. Fun quiz again
Thanks ❤️❤️❤️
