this video really makes me think. Hershel (aka Desmond) wanted his little brother Theodore (Aka Layton) to live a good life. It's why he gave up his name to him. but as it turns out, he doesn't. He lost his best friend while treasure hunting and thought he was dead up until the events of Miracle Mask, almost lost his life (twice, might I add) and the love of his life in an explosion. When he tried to find out the truth of what happened, he was beaten to a pulp (and I don't believe he fought back one bit beyond asking why over and over) and thrown on the street, all of his work he had gathered on the incident gone. While his childhood up until he was 18 was normal, he didn't have that perfect life that Desmond wanted to give him. and it really makes me sad.
