►Synopsis ：
In the 9th year of Wude Period of Tang Dynasty, Li Changge, the daughter of the former crown prince, accidentally escaped from the military coup in the palace. During her escape, Changge encountered the secret service agent of a grassland tribe, Ashina Sun, who was under the pseudonym of Qin Zhun. They got to know each other through a fight and their affection grew stronger. Changge smashed a conspiracy in Youzhou. However, at the same time, her identity was revealed, and she went to Shuozhou to escape capture. She hid herself beside Gongsun Heng, the governor of Shuozhou, to help him resist the invasion of the grassland forces, but she did not expect that the enemy general was Qin Zhun. Changge was shocked and distressed to discover Qin’s real identity. However, the situation in Yuzhou is in great danger. In order to gain time for reinforcements, Li Changge negotiated with Sun. For the sake of the overall situation, she was willing to be a prisoner and taken to the grassland. Then she accidentally learned that the Great Khan had an ulterior motive. Changge decided to temporarily put aside her personal vengeance, and risk her life to save the situation. In order to save Changge, Sun disobeyed the order of the Great Khan, but they were far apart from each other after that. After going through the arduous exile, Changge gradually understood the principle of the invincibility of the benevolent, and finally put aside her personal grievances. After discovering that the former forces of Sui Dynasty were the manipulators behind the scenes, Changge and Sun teamed up to protect the peace of Tang Dynasty and the grassland. They finally came to realize their deep affections towards each other and went to confront the crisis ahead.

It's been a year now since this interview aired but until now i have tachycardia everytime im watching leireba videos for the long ballad..
I always adore Reba. Seeing her with Leo warm my heart. She looks happy and carefree! Love their interactions and they had such amazing chemistry as Li Changge and Asun. Even they only stared at each other eyes enough to give me butterfly. They need to make more dramas or other projects together coz even in real life their chemistry is in another level! Such joyful to watch them together!
Actually they look more like brother and sister to me, with Dilraba being more like an older sister (she is 7 years older than Wu Lei in real life). Even in the drama, there wasn't really a kissing scene between the 2 of them. Whatever scenes there were were blurred out or taken from a certain angle or just suggested by 2 "kissing" birds. Now, Wuei and Zhao Lusi, those 2 really have good on-screen chemistry.

Haha. 🥰 After they filmed this Live, they walked around the building together. There were a lot of people and fans. Leo protected Dilraba by putting his arm against the wall to prevent her getting crushed(when they were being pushed) and used his body as a buffer & shield for her. Reba even held onto his arm while he helped "split" the crowd, by leading the way at times.❤🥰 He behaved very protectively, Gentlemanly and manly. That is so wonderful to see.🤗👍

1. After viewing ADou's scene, Reba said the part where ADou & Changge kneel down it was improv, not part of script 👍👏. Interviewer asked about the part when Changge called out ADou's name, to which WLei responded that he too like the part when Changge call out - A Dou !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤭
2. The part when AshinaSun shot Changge (in her chest when she was standing on the battlement), netizens commented that it was like ASun shot his wife 🤭😂, that was the look in WLei eyes 😍.
3. Netizens posted memes using a falcon representing ASun and a pigeon (?) as Changge, so Interviewer asked them to select one pic & pose, and after WLei snapped her Reba complained that she looks ugly (Reba, really??? You need glasses! No one will agree with you! LOL) and to which WLei protested & complained that she already is so pretty/good looking/beautiful and how much more pretty you wanna be! Awwwwww 🥰 💗.
And when it was WLei's turn to select a picture to pose, he asked Reba to select for him.....sigh 💗💓.
Reba continued to complain that her photos are ugly 🤔😅, Interviewer assured her that those ugly photos will be deleted, adding that "we will protect you." I love this Interviewer!
4. 09:00 Reba was asked to sing a song most represent Changge's thoughts/feelings for ASun and a song was selected (for the lyrics is about a man/warrior of the grasslands), Reba however does not know the song well, so WLei suggested that they get song online & play the song for Reba (so clever of him 👍) but Reba still struggled, and finally WLei said "enough, do not torture her anymore" 🥰🥰.
5. 10:45 Reba was asked to describe ASun in Changge's mind and she replied - when he is around, one feel safe or have a sense of security. WLei was very pleased with reply!
When WLei was asked to describe, he hesitated initially but then said "Ok, I will say it plainly (in Chinese he said - if 1 I will say 1- this is an idiom meaning that one will speak plainly, honestly)". Changge in ASun's mind - Chang'an's brightest white moon, the only lady love of ASun. Sweet 😍.
6. Arm wrestle...Interviewer warned WLei not to cheat & lose 🤭😂🥰. Noticed how WLei worries for Reba, esp her wrist, so one can see how he grips her wrist instead of just her palm! And then he suggested 'paper rock scissors' instead, LOL!
7. WLei was asked about 'princess carry Reba' to which he replied that initially he was nervous/worried (there is bts video where Lei constantly exercised on set, now I understand 🤭😂).
There are many many more 'moments', too many, and I cannot translate all, but looking at the 2 broadcasted interviews & few FMV, Reba+Lei are 🔥💓, their chemistry is undeniable.
And, WuLei's words & actions really reflect his genuine love & affection & adoration for Reba.

The problem with people not recognizing her talent and skill is because her look is so strikingly beautiful. Dilraba so far among all her dramas, this is by far the best among all her dramas. Leo Wu now caught my attention. So good with how he portray his role as Ashile Sun of Eagle Division. Season 2 please of The Long Ballad! The final episode has a hanging ending. Feel betrayed that Sun and Changge are not together when the series ended. Why? But I love the team up of Dilraba and Wu Lei here. They looked so sweet and romantic! Hope to see them again paired in another drama. OMG!
