Building a Wooden Mallet for the First Time

I've been using a piece of wood as a Mallet for this long. In this video I'm making a proper hardwood Mallet to replace it. As a beginner woodworker, this is my first attempt at making one. I used Jackfruit wood for this project. It's a hard and sturdy wood that native to tropical Asia. If you're a DIY woodworker like me, I'm showing easy to follow complete process of making the Mallet with dimensions. Finally, I'm using double boiled Linseed oil to finish my project. Thank you 😊 Pine is a softwood. I don't think it's suitable for a mallet. You should get some hardwood.
