    The last parable has so many meanings, but I'll lean on this one. Children are innocent and see the world according to their little worldview. It is the parents that influences and feed children according to what they have been through instead of allowing kids to be kids.
    Be careful what you feed your children.

    I think that last parable means we as Christians are the baby sheep and God is our mother while the Lioness and her baby are the devil and his agents. So the whole scenario like paints our Christian battles especially as regards to sin, this means that if we are able to hear God's voice and act on it, we will be saved from the plans of the devil even if he uses our friends or playmates to get at us we will recognise him and not open the door. Amen?! Amen!
    Thank you Ma!

    When listening to the the last parable I was reminded of the scripture that says the heart of man is desperately wicked. So we have to be careful. Another scripture that came to my mind was 2 Corinthians 6:14 “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?” So the lamb walking with the cub is like a child of light mingling with darkness and if care is not taken you can lose yourself and thankfully that lamb had the spirit of discernment to stop being friends with the cub. So this is important because there are times when we single Christians we mingle with unbelievers making them our close friends not knowing that they are slowly pulling us down and we backslide. And that lamb also took heed like it says in 1 Corinthians 10:12 “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.”
    ‭‭if we don’t take heed and be careful with the people we interact with we would fall.

    It means that as kids we do not know our right from our wrong.
    But, obeying and yielding to the words of our parents or guidance would help us live longer and safer and give give good direction to our paths.
    Because, what a child climbs a mountain to see, the parents would see it while standing due to years of experience, as a result of be mentored by others and ability to hear God.

    To me, the parable means " the wisdom/knowledge you are acting upon, I have acquired that same knowledge/wisdom as well".
    It means we are both operating on the same frequency of information we have received. It means I am not ignorant of the frequency of knowledge/wisdom from which you are acting/reacting, I am also acting based on the same knowledge/wisdom as you are.
    It could mean "I have been guided just as you have been guided as well"
    In pidgin I would say " you no fit mumu me, me self I sabi the thing as you too take sabi am"

    Thank you so much Ma. The last parable definitely is a striking and thought-provoking one for me. The indomie and beans proverb too.
    Regarding the last proverb, my understanding is drawn from these three perspectives-the general, the bridge, and the specific.
    1). The general. In life, there are people who have acquired enemies based on what was told them and NOT from their own experiences. The general example here from the story are the children. But this also happens with adults (individuals both young and old), tribes, nations still find themselves in this. A practical example is the common saying, “Those people are our enemies, we don't relate with them."
    Apostle Paul speaking said in 1 Corinthians 14:10 "There are many voices in the world and none is without significance." God would ask Adam in Genesis 3:9-11 “...Who told you, you were naked?...”
    This means, everything we know today was told us by someone.
    Just like children are clean slates, parents/guardians determine what they become with the information they put into them SO ALSO, the grown ups should be careful what they take in. PK will always say, it's not all info he listens to. There are gossips about him, he shuns when it's brought because he knows how it will affect his mind. If those children were allowed, they could have continued in such innocence playing forever (may be) but for the information put in by their guardian/mother. Apostle Paul speaking in one of the Epistles said "follow me as I follow Christ." (1 Corinthians 11:1). PM in a message talked about how a lady told another person bringing gossip "I'm not a carrier of bad news." Lol
    May I quickly add, In as much as the intake of information can be a life changer (good or bad), las las (in the end), we determine what we truly do with the information we received. It is the recipient in the end that determines the result. The story of David and Jonathan is a practical example. (1 Samuel 23:16-18).
    Why I think you are the determining factor is because; My thought is, what if the lion's eyes never changed? What if he decided not to be affected by the information his mother (the lioness) told him? Just what if?..
    2). The Bridge-*Listening to instruction and sensitivity.*
    The lamb listened to the mother's instruction. AND was also sensitive. The lamb could have said, "Mother doesn't know how this lion is friendly with me and gone ahead anyway (in PM’s voice lol)". That's why I also say *sensitivity.* Because in addition to listening to the instruction, the lamb was also sensitive to see a change in the eyes of the "lion friend". The lamb really portrayed the Scripture (Matthew 10:16) that says "..be quiet like the dove but wise like the serpent" by listening to advice AND LOOKING INTO HIS FRIEND'S EYES. Children need to be taught to listen to instructions. Adults need to learn this too (instructions from the Father-God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit). A mother will go out and tell the child, “Do not open the door”. Someone comes, knocks and says, “I’m your mother’s friend, open the door for me. The rest is history because we know what will happen” lol. Funny but sad.
    3). The Specific-not to be sentimental. Very important! There were times that people were sensitive, listened to instruction but allowed sentiments to take the better of them. I liked how the lamb confronted the lion and told him, "that thing your mama tell you yesterday, my mama tell me too and closed the curtain." I understand that some personality type may not be that tough, strict, blunt, or straight to the point but we need to wake up. We need to learn it. Not everybody is smiling with you. The Bible says, “Jesus did not entrust himself to any man because he knew all people". John 2:24
    The story that immediately comes to mind is that of king David in 1 Samuel 23:7-15 He went to rescue a city, got wind of Saul coming to kill him there. He brought the Ephod and asked God if Saul would surely come. God said "Yes". He then inquired of God to know if the people of THE SAME CITY HE JUST FOUGHT FOR would give him over to Saul. God said "Yes" to him. David wasn't sentimental. He didn't say "No, these people I just helped can't do that to me". He packed his things and jakpad (left) with his men. There comes a time in life, if not every time when "Assumptions can be very dangerous". David sought the Face of God. In Luke 18:1 "Jesus Spake a parable to the effect that men ought always to pray and not to faint".
    Finally, I'd say, "In this life, be careful the information you take in, listen to instruction, always be sensitive, and don't be sentimental. And never forget, las las (in the end), you-the recipient-are truly the one who determines what you do with whatever information you get.
    May the Lord help us all In Jesus Name, Amen.
    Thank you Mommy😊🔥

      @fujiriefeurhievwe364 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Therefore, my final note to Believers going the spiritual route is this, that;
      1). Some battles are inherited. The moment you become A Born Again Child of God, you come to terms with the fact that there's an ongoing battle against you and for your soul. "We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, against rulers of darkness in the heavenly places", you have to know that "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds", and so on.
      2). The baby lion THE DAY he finally KNEW this, came "up" to his NATURE. As Christians, we have to come up to our nature as well. The knowledge of who you are will settle many things. The day I know all things works together for my good, worry is settled. When I know Whose Daughter I am, my Lover inferiority and low self esteem should be settled. And the day I know as Christians the ongoing warfare, then Luke 18:1 and 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (to pray always and without ceasing) will be my life style.
      3). Watch and pray for ye know not the day or hour. There's an emphasis on "THE DAY" in point number 2 above. Because if we remember from the story, the lioness said, " *I have been telling you* not to play with your food..." Same for the lamb. The mother had been telling him. But there was something different about that very day. We are therefore cautioned today to be careful. Be careful both what ye hear and do. We may be doing something now and always getting away with the consequences, Or we may hear the common saying "I can handle it", this is a deception to trap you. Why? Because The Bible says "Let him who thinks he stands take heed, lest he falls". Or it may be something, an information someone keeps saying to you. There will come a day it will finally sink into you and cause a change in you. Therefore watch and pray.
      4). Finally, we saw that both babies played on THE SAME LEVEL before now. I wondered why it was the lamb who retracted. Why didn't the lamb step out the next day instead, to say lion come out?? I just wondered.. why? Because of what he knew. Whatever the mother told him, it conveyed the meaning that "we are less, lower, or below these people". Vice Versa for the baby lion because we see him coming "up" to a higher level. The call therefore today to us is to be careful what you hear; it can either make or mar you. It was what someone heard that brought about low self esteem. This can either be from within (your thought/mind) OR from without-people, the society, etc.
      It is both ways; some people heard something that made them feel below. Others heard something that brought unnecessary pride. A man came to Jesus and said "Good Master..." and Jesus immediately told him "Why do ye call me good? No man is good except God". The disciples abi Peter came to Jesus one time and told him "All the world seek for thee". Lol Jesus ignored him and told him they needed to go to another city. The question then is “if na all the world, which persons was Jesus going to another city to preach to then?” It was to realign (May be) the orientation of Brother Peter. Apostle Paul said "do not think of yourself too highly than you ought".
      While having this in my heart to share this morning after my devotion, this verse jumped out while reading my Bible during my devotion. Luke 8:1-18 emphasis on the first line of verse 18. Jesus speaking said, "Therefore, be careful what ye hear". Wow! This He told them after He gave the parable of the Seed and the Sower. Of course, I was amazed.
      God go help us In Jesus Name, Amen.
      I love you Ma. We are blessed to have you in our generation Ma and we thank you for yielding to God🙇🏼‍♀️🙌🏼. God bless you plenty and PK for us all In Jesus Name, Amen

    • @fujiriefeurhievwe364
      @fujiriefeurhievwe364 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Holy Spirit dropped another perspective in my heart this morning and I thought to share. Let nobody judge me lol. Because it may or may not mean it. But I see sense in it.
      It occurred to me, that this can be applied to *Finances and Relationship.* We saw that the baby lion kept playing with his "food" which can mean *opportunity.* But the day he finally realized it, it was no more available...You may/will not always have the opportunity you currently have. A wise man once said, "Opportunities are never lost, someone only TOOK the one you MISSED." Delay can be dangerous.
      Same for Relationships, you may not be treating someone right now. They will not always be there. The approach of the baby lion towards "his food" should not have been to play with the food but to eat it. And the day he finally realized it, it was no more.
      So in summary I would say, from this story also, young adults or people who are “wasting away” can also be told “You will not always have time. So always make the most of it (wisely).”
      Mama please let the video do and come lol let sombori’s mind rest😭🤣
      I'm really enjoying this Ma. It's my prayer God’s Blessings on you Ma, PK, the family and all that is yours Ma In Jesus Name, Amen. 🙇🏼‍♀️🔥🙌🏼

    • @fujiriefeurhievwe364
      @fujiriefeurhievwe364 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I read the parable of the Tares and Wheat today. When it came to the verse where Jesus Said, "When men slept, the enemy came to sow these seeds", the Holy Spirit immediately drew my mind back to this parable of the lion and the sheep.
      He Said, imagine what would have happened had it been the Ewe (mother sheep) didn't come to see what was happening as well. Imagine that only the angry lioness saw them and the children ended their play and went back to the house before the Ewe (mother sheep) came. Just imagine... It means the lamb (baby sheep) and its mother would have known nothing. And while they slept... the lioness would have planted that evil seed (word) into the heart of the baby lion. The lion would have come the next day and the lamb oblivious of what had happened would have followed. Also, the Ewe may have no clue how her child died.
      Oh, are there many prayers points flooding my heart right now? Yes. But one thing that stood out for me or better put that the Holy Spirit made me to see IS THE GOODNESS OF GOD. Hmmm. You see, God did not allow THAT to happen. He brought the Mother Sheep to see them as well. Otherwise, the story would have been bad.
      It reminds me of what was said in the message "The four things I know about God" and/or the Cross Over Service where Mommy was wearing an apron. Mommy speaking said, "If you've lost anything, God is the Reason, you haven't/didn't lose all. If things are bad right now, God is the Reason, it's not worse." I also remember what PK said. He Said "God is TOO GOOD that even the word GOOD is gotten from GOD!" Hallelujah! I was truly encouraged by this. Because God is our Ebenezer. The scariest thing wouldn't have been the Ewe not seeing the children but THE DECEPTION that would have ensued. In the sense that the enemy would have used the same *'old rugged method'* each time to kill the lambs. The baby lions would first of all be friendly by calling them out and later, eat them. While the mother would have had no idea or by the time she knew, she would have incurred many losses.
      This made me really sober and fired up. My God, our GOD TRULY IS A GOOD GOD. Our Ebenezer, my Help. I just want to say Thank YOU Jesus🙌🏼🙇🏼‍♀️ God is truly a Good God.
      I'd say that this story also portrays the Goodness of God. I was busy praising the lamb for the courage and for 'getting mouth' to talk back too. But all that wouldn't have happened if not for the love and goodness of God. If not that God had mercy to also bring the Mother to witness that scene. It therefore started from the love, goodness and mercy of God.
      We therefore say Thank You Jesus.🙌🏼🙇🏼‍♀️

    I think the last parable has to do with what happens when one gets information,both good and bad.
    You get wiser and do better if it's good but when it's bad info,you can become destructive and your knowledge increases in the negative areas,thereby causing more harm.

    I think the last parable has more then one meaning.
    Firstly, some character/behaviors are innate and neither innocence nor being naive would change it/them. This is probably why history almost always repeats itself.
    Secondly, not all wisdom of the elders can be contested. You can have an elder's clothes but not his rags.
    Thirdly, be sensitive enough to know when there is a change or a certain stage in life is over.

    Awesome video Mama M. Thank you so much for the lessons.
    First off, the parable is talking about association to me. One must not be so foolish to think that everybody can be his friend. Those that you might be playing around with can turn around and take you for dinner.
    Secondly, sense is important. You have to be smarter, one step ahead of your game. The Lion still came in the disgusie of a friend, but sense ( wisdom) saved the Lamb

    The last parable : "that thing that your mama tell you yesterday, my mama tell me too" could mean that we both now know the same thing, you're not the only one with knowledge, and so don't expect me to be a fool and act like before. We now know our place and what we are to each other.

    Wow! What a wisdom. God bless you PST Mildred. I so much like the parable. I guess it means that its what you know that kills you.🤩 The two children had been playing with open mindedness without knowing that one is food for the other, not until they knew from their mothers which killed their relationship.

    "That tin wey your mama tell you, my mama sef tell me"
    Meaning:
    "You cannot play a fast one on me" OR "You cannot play on my intelligence" OR "Don't insult my intelligence" OR "If you think you can play on my intelligence/ignorance, you've got another think coming"
    In pidgin: "If you tink say you fit corner me FOC, na lie you lie" OR "You tink say you fit play me ojoro/put me for one chance? Whosai!"
    Hehehe
    It is a way of letting someone know you are one step ahead in the game he/she is attempting to beat you at.

      @@ijeomadike6761 yes they do, if the right terms can't be found, and because English isn't our mother tongue, so it's hard to really transpose. The proverbs we have in Africa have their European counterparts. That's what helps in proper translation if we can find them. That's what I'm suggesting. 😁
