I agree that S&V is just different so it'll take time for people to appreciate it (especially after how much of a banger Sw&Sh turned out to be by the end of it's lifetime). I really enjoy all the reverse holos, made it super simple to get a master set in full reverse holo which is cool. Plus the art for the IR and SIRs are incredible. I look forward to future sets with the new approach.
Scarlet and Violet is a pretty meh set in my opinion. All in all, not a bad Crown Zenith opening today. 20 packs with a full art trainer, Glaceon, and about 10 yellow Galarian border cards... night and day compared to some of your previous openings.
That glaceon is such a beauty of a card. All I can say after watching that, is thanks for getting some trash of the streets.. Looking forward to the 100 packs of BS

I seriously think that we might have another Fusion Strikes situation on our hands for these last print runs. Either way, definitely appreciate the content that you provide us brother because no matter how bad it is you still find a way to make it entertaining and for that I absolutely thank you.

This was a rough opening, I had a S/V ETB with a single Ex like that but also had one with multiple hits including the Gardevoir SIR so it’s all luck! That Glaceon was nice and saved the day for sure!

This is always a tough question because opening packs is 100% random. I personally have the best luck just buying single packs, while others have amazing luck with ETBs. My best advice is to just buy what you like and have fun with it!
For investment purposes, do you think the Scarlet & Violet set (the red one) is worth buying for $20 off brand new? (normally $80 CAD) Tbh I probably wouldn't buy it at normal price, but if these go up in value maybe I should take advantage of the offer?
There was a thread on reddit where someone was recently caught taking cards from the places that manufacture the pokemon tcg. He took about 1 Million in rare, vstar, vmax, holo and other cards. That may be why youre not able to hit in crown zenith or if other etb or packs feel dry
Just FYI... every Crown Zenith ETB has 1 Galarian Gallery silver border full art card. Which one is the difference but any special full art card from the Galarian Gallery is in every Crown Zenith ETB.
I've learned to stay away from the latest sets ETBs.. they're absolutely terrible. I'd say unless you can get your hands on some first print run SWSH ETBs just stay away from them
ETBs are a waste of money. I only bought the Pokemon Center S&V ones for the promos and all 4 of them were TRASH. CZ treated me well at first then my most recent two blew chunks.
