Great analysis. I agree with you on the timbre. A bit unnatural for my taste. I also find the vocals lacking weight. Maybe a warmer dongle like the FC6 might help with the metallic timbre and some EQ for the mid range. Just my personal opinion
I enjoyed your review as always 😊 I'm kind of surprised it scored a 6 for the treble performance, since you said this is suitable for people who love highly technical upper frequency.
Thanks, the score is lower for Treble due to the metallic tint and despite being very technical, detailed, I strongly feel it sacrificed a lot on timbre, which from my standpoint is more paramount than technical competency
@@donglemadness exactly this is why I love the job you do because save me time on compare the stuff and lots of money because normally half of them staying with me. Thanks again.
You explained the IEM pretty good so i get a understanding what the IEM is all about. Most Reviewers you Fell to sleep. What are other iems that Sound Natural and real i Talk about subtonic storm and Oracle mk1 i had used the Oracle Tuning from super Reviewer with poweramp EQ on the Hype 2 with hiby FC6 and IT sounded so real everything nothing Stands Out Too much very Natural sounding. There are not many iems like this what are others? Also is the Sennheiser HD 600 Like this Sound Profile?
Thanks. Appreciate this. There's two things here. Natural and neutral, you get both from the likes of Sennheiser HD600, and I mean without any EQ (I never use EQ anyway). I/O Volare which I reviewed recently sounded similarly natural as HD600 but not quite neutral due to boosting in the lower frequency, but it was done in a way I consider pleasing. Most IEMs, like 90% of them are colored one way or another, the one true uncolored and neutral would be Kinera Idun Golden and Etymotic ER2SE, they are super flat, transparent. I personally love SIVGA Nightingale, not exactly neutral, some coloration with Midrange area but damm that Nightingale is super natural and organic, immersive and velvety smooth, I ended up using Nightingale more than anything else now. You can also check Rose Technics Star City 5 Pro, mild boosting in Midbass but otherwise it offers great balanced sound with near neutral V tuning
If you ever going to review the fiio m23. Can you please do a blind test of the m23 and a smartphone? I don't have the slightest clue the differences between a smartphone and a dap in sound quality. Thanks
Hello Andy. Is there any hope for Tanchjim zero in this rating table? It may be funny I guess.. but is there any hope also for Zero to stang against MP145? Or because of this price difference there can not be any comparison? Does it need to make the step and buy MP145 or will be happy with the Zero? Thanks Andy
The rating for Tanchjim ZERO was heavily influenced by my own subjective fondness of it while all other IEMs are objectively rated. Which means that I will not include Tanchjim ZERO rating when doing subsequent reviews. Just FYI, MP145 is superior than Tanchjim ZERO in all areas, especially with dynamic extension, transient speed and imaging. MP145 remains the one of the highest scoring IEMs for AndyAudioVault overall regardless of price
Andy as you said once i have bought the next level dynamism ... hope you get it .. yes I have Fiio KA17 in my hand... and I am so so much happy that you suggested me that. i am very thankful to you .. now I need another help ... its draining my Xiaomi Mi 9T battery very fast please name a good power bank.... thank you once again... although thank you is not enough 🙏🙏
Power banks, there's so many to choose from. My advice is to look for those offering Qualcom Quick Charge and even better the ones with 33W and above with PD 3.0 capable. But at least Quick Charge is what you want
Andy can you give a quantifiable difference in sound and technicality between the original 7 Hertz the timeless two and the Aurora thanks man I appreciate it. Also yyou still selling/ making cables??
The OG Timeless was simply better tuned and better with dynamic transient coherence, being a single driver planar makes it seamless with PRAT. Aurora on the other hand seems to have some sort of detachment of transient flow of Bass with the rest of sound frequency, it seems to be operating slightly out of sync hence especially considering how much more enhanced Aurora is with the lows, definitely a lot more Bassier than Timeless. The overall balance of Timeless was also better with general tuning, not too bassy, not too edgy sharp or not to emphasized with macro details like what Aurora does. Yes of course, AAV Valkynaz cable is still very active for sale
Hello my friend my hidizs mp145 today. U mind If i ask, ibasso dc 04 pro can drive fully the hidizs mp145? Cause i quite hear the difference from the demo sound on other reviewers versus the actual sound.
DC04Pro is one of the best to use with MP145. It can drive things a lot more demanding and harder than MP145. I am not aware of the differences that you mentioned
Fantastic review, Andy! This is a very good looking IEM!
Thanks 😁🙏

Thanks, yes running it on natural sounding DAC like FC6 or FiiO Q15 helps to reduce the upper frequency metallic timbre, and helps with Midrange body

@donglemadness ah, I see, thanks for the clarification 😊
Very good this review now i must decide between Aurora or Pilgrim both same price
So which one did you choose between those two?
Hi Andy, thanks for your hard work with help me choose few products all ready and never make me disappointed. Do you have a ranking for iem's?
Thank you! I do have the ranking tables but I need to find time to compile them properly. Time seems to be one thing I am not getting enough now, lol

I am not sure yet. If I get a replacement, yes
Quick question Andy I’m new to the iem game,I have an opportunity to buy a Fiio A5 portable amp, would it improve the sound of iems?….Thank you.
It depends on what you use now, if you are running directly from your PC or Laptop or your phone, A5 can offer better sound

For under RM1000, get Simgot EM6L since you like Bass and also will use it for gaming

Haven't tried on M11s so not sure, but with Q15 is does sound less edgy and a bit smoother
