I remember going to leadership meetings at my former church and the rhetoric at the time was that church is a business. If businesses sell products then what is the church selling? A famous pastor once said that the product was JESUS. I've heard pastors and performers complain that they didn't get enough money when they travelled to another church. I had a former friend who wanted me to help him got to churches with him to convince them to install atms in the lobbies. I noted that the one time when The Messiah got angry and violent was with the money changers. He responded that it was convenient just in case you left your money at home.

Ohh nooo🤦🏽♀️ I knew I wasn’t crazy when I went to pastors Hannah church. I personally did not feel the spirit of the Lord there and was not compelled to continue attending. I am just in awe that these churches are this out of order. Even in my days of heavy sinning, I knew not to play in the church of God. No wonder why the folks that go to many of these churches have not matured spiritually and are easily deceived, they have no solid biblical foundation and think God is fun and games, ready to bless you while you’re still sinning. I too had to stop attending his church when the whole sermon one Sunday was about accepting homosexuality in the church. After the service, on the way to the parking lot, I saw two females walking hand in hand who were obviously a couple. From that day forward I never went back.

Exposing the wolves in sheep's clothing is our obligation. How else are new converts who do know how to use discernment supposed to grow in Christ if they are not hearing sound doctrine. Not everyone is mature in the faith yet and led by the Spirit of God in Christ to discern for themselves what is truth and what is error. Videos exposing the deception is necessary to help someone grow in the Word of God. So they are not led astray from it by seducing spirits.

Even when I found a church that wasn't doing this craziness they went the opposite way, so much so that they buried the word as to be embarrassed be people crying or expressing any real emotions was labeled underacceptable because they did not believe in the work of the Holy Spirit to bring people to repentance. People nowadays have a problem with correction. That's why things got too bad because people stopped rebuking each other with love and also because most people are doing the wrong thing themselves so how can they tell others?
A big fear that people have subconsciously is their Job moment. When you do everything right and still suffer some sort of punishment or intense temptation. Most people want to live content and at peace. With just the existence of evil being a major disappointment and nuisance to even have to observe.
I appreciate what you share and thank you for the time you spend in the sharing. I grew up in a traditional, Episcopal church but had a salvation/Holy Spirit encounter in 1971. I have been in Episcopal l, Lutheran, Assemblies of God, Baptist, and independent charismatic churches over the years, and I deed I have seen/experienced some really weird stuff! In these days I see the "entertainment" Spirit taking over the Church, and a holy fear of the Lord diminishing. BUT even though we are to approach a holy God in humility of heart, is there not a time to celebrate who He is and what He has done? I have been fighting a blood cancer for 14 years, and I know "if I had not made your law delight, I would have perished in my afflictions." I need to shout and dance in praise and thanks to Him! I realize not all dancing and bodily movements glorify God, but Cory, sometimes I just have to move!

Nevertheless, it's the job of those who love Christ's church and God's reputation to make sure we are holding to the faith with integrity. Those who find issue with accountability are probably those most in need of it.
Idk how your channel come across my TH-cam viewing but I’m so glad it did. I’ve been saved since 14 (forced) and in and out of church and my relationship with God. I don’t think it odd or by chance your channel came down my viewing suggestions. I’ve increased my understanding of some things and I thank God for it.

I can’t sit and try to listen to arch behavior!! I need to be able to understand what is being preached and taught!! I do not like all the showmanship. It’s not necessary. I notice in some services, people clap based on if someone is hitting a long, high note when singing; or how a pastor vibrates his words, yell, scream, when preaching. Some will say I am judging. I will not move or respond unless the Spirit moves me! I do not want to be manipulated in trying to excite me or get me to respond based on “how” you preach or sing by using vocal gymnastics! We desperately need discernment!!

I am just in awe that these churches are this out of order. Even in my days of heavy sinning, I knew not to play in the church of God. No wonder why the folks that go to many of these churches have not matured spiritually and are easily deceived, they have no solid biblical foundation and think God is fun and games, ready to bless you while you’re still sinning. I too had to stop attending his church when the whole sermon one Sunday was about accepting homosexuality in the church. After the service, on the way to the parking lot, I saw two females walking hand in hand who were obviously a couple. From that day forward I never went back.

In these days I see the "entertainment" Spirit taking over the Church, and a holy fear of the Lord diminishing.

This makes me appreciate that my present pastor and the Holiness organization I grew up in, are somewhat austere.
I can’t sit and try to listen to arch behavior!! I need to be able to understand what is being preached and taught!! I do not like all the showmanship. It’s not necessary. I notice in some services, people clap based on if someone is hitting a long, high note when singing; or how a pastor vibrates his words, yell, scream, when preaching. Some will say I am judging. I will not move or respond unless the Spirit moves me! I do not want to be manipulated in trying to excite me or get me to respond based on “how” you preach or sing by using vocal gymnastics! We desperately need discernment!!
