Gnosis 2 is probably the most difficult! You simply have less stuff, and it's all a new surprise if you're just starting out...

The ammo sucks and spoils the game for me. They need to make a lot more of it available for such a hectic game.
@markheywood5626 it certainly can be an issue. After gnosis2 though, it can be purchased from the trader, which does help a little...
