I love how you can see Sjin run out of the factory at 2:11 and after that you just hear someone getting electrocuted.
I loved when Sjin blew himself up. Like slow that down, put it in black and white, and slap on some sad music and just wait for the academy awards.

That is ONE reflector, you need three more for that tower.
one reflector will work, just at a slower pace. at this stage though, bucketing water into the tower is a much bigger pain than the speed of the single reflector.
Four reflectors barely manage to keep up with the turbine, but you don't even really get any surplus out of it which is why you need actually more than that.
I think three or four well buckets were enough to keep up with the water, but this is such a short term issue anyway because you quickly after that reach the next age in which you can make the IE pump to get water straight from the river / ocean biomes.
i like how duncan moused over the machine that Should have oil in it and it said diesel but he still asks why there is no oil going in, and tries to brake/re-put down the pipe
The Oil tower has a little bit of diesel in it. If you hover over the input liquid then you will see a small amount of diesel.

What was painful was Duncan using four buckets of water to make the infinite source when he could have used two!

Yep, that was annoying, just costs I think 1 hop dust for the blueprint and doubles the durability of the rods.

There is really no reason to have lv wires when mv are better and hv are even better, also the diesel generated generates hv power not mv
I don't think the portable generators meant to power the whole base now is it < this made me laugh so hard
Honestly the best way to get water going forwards is a block called a Well Bucket. If you place a couple of water source blocks around it it'll just continually fill up with water, *without* depleting the source blocks around itself.

Duncan using the rod press instead of the work bench makes the rods at 50% health instead of 100%
i love the fact they have access to the super mining things with the excavation add on for tinkers and they still do it with the hammers. XD

That was me before Sjin put a singular mirror and calling it a day
So they're are making more things that need power but not fixing their big power problem.
Sounds about right, given that they've never really developed a routine of how to develop proper power systems in most modpacks they play. Effort and forethought, tools these 3 do not wield.

you guys should make an electric fence using the non insulated power cables against mobs for extra protection and to zap dunc more :p
BUILD A FLUID PUMP!!!!Just build an infinite water source (the 3 block one) right next to the solar tower and use the fluid pump on that. Also, if you build a distiller it will distill the water which will get you more steam than regular water.
The ideal set up is
Fluid Pump to pump water in to the distiller
Distiller to pump into the solar tower
Solar tower into the steam turbine
Steam turbine into an alternator.
It’s honestly not as bad as it sounds, you can build all of them literally right next to each other and it generates 1.2 Million IF. It’s the best setup for Immersive Engineering.
