Late comment. But... she's morally compelled to have something against for Robert being a cheater AND for him being the reason her friend Katie died. She thinks her son should not be with someone like that. In the end, it is Aaron's choice but if you have empathy (as she has for both Aaron and Katie), why would she keep quiet?
