Utd would win everything in CM01/02 without you doing anything, one of my best first seasons with Liverpool was still a 2nd place 10 points behind them.
i use the holiday function but the annoying thing is you have to sit there and wait till may or at least after the UCL otherwise it does its updates and you cant see the leagues & stats properly you'll have to go through your teams history which i feel does not give it the same effect as if you could see it all on screen.
