Quelle belle musique mon Dieu.
Thanks God this Quintet exists. Because of its incredible freshness and craftsmanship, I consider it one of the most important chamber works of its genre and, in general, in of the most important works of Pre-Modernism.
This quintet differs from Mozart's and Beethoven's tradition, since there is no horn but one flute. This is by far more homogeneous: "woodwinds" alone. A synthesis will be achieved by Poulenc's sextet.
who's the pianist?
Eric Le Sage, I've just added it to the description.
