Awesome coach! Good looking, plenty of space to hanging out with people! Love the bunks and the one above the drivers seat, Itsn't expensive.. a really good one! Thanks for this cool review Andrew.
Great opportunity to buy at a wholesale cost while getting the high quality standards that come with a Forest River product. Thanks Scott for having Andrew out to do a nice presentation of the products.

@@ScottAles I thought it was a different floorplan, but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. Not in need of a bunk coach, but it would be useable for storage and dogs, and I like the 2 full baths. Don't listen to these clowns!
@@ScottAles My only gripe is, why do production coach builders keep putting the DEF fill on the passenger side? I'm a truck driver, have they never been to a truck stop where the diesel and DEF are on the same pump,on the drivers side?
We are officially down to one left! It is now the very last Forest River 45D Charleston that is still new, in the world. We did take a 2021 Dynamax 37' DX3 M-37BH Super C on trade with 31k miles if anyone is interested.
Full Freightliner and product warranties. The standard Forest River coach warranty is 1 year. These will sell for multiple hundreds of thousands less than MSRP. How much can go wrong to cost hundreds of thousands?
@@ScottAlesmost new expensive coaches sell for hundreds of thousands off MSRP…..as you should know by now MSRP is whatever the manufacturer wishes it to be. A big dealer putting brand new expensive RVs into an auction is a red flag… I realize you have a dog in this fight
@URKlewless Ahh... I've been selling high valued assets for 40 years at auction. Red flag? Yes, the flag designates a great opportunity! Not everyone is a candidate to buy at auction. We're not marketing to folks who prefer a traditional sale. Fully respect that preference. We're in front of 30k-50k buyers this week at Mecum. We've sold over a half dozen $200k to $1mm coaches at Mecum Auctions in the past. Might as well keep doing what works. And I'm not a Big dealer. Just my wife and myself for 40+ years. No big deal.
Keep up the great work Andrew. Maybe every so often you to feature some rigs that us common folk could afford. In any case you are amazing at what you do!
100% agree, there will be details to tend to. While I have personally driven each coach and operated all the slides, shades, leveling, electrical, and heating systems, there's likely a number of things to tend to in the first months and miles of operation. Currently, they are fully functional and at least driven 1,300 miles without incident.
Looks like these Motorhome didn't sell. Anyone know how the bidding went? Was where any interest? Seems like an odd place to sell a new motorhome, perhaps this was just a marketing / exposure exercise?
Yet... We had one serious bidder that still wants the first coach. We haven't come to terms at this point. The second coach didn't garner any bids. Which is not uncommon as I have presented unusual items over 40 years at collector car auction and had this occur. I can assure everyone, this is NOT and exercise in exposure or marketing. My wife and I are not franchise RV dealers nor do we have any official association with Forest River. I received a phone call in December asking if I was interested to buy a 2025 motorhome. Turns out, there were 4 units, not just one! We bought them all and arranged over the Holidays to move them here, by our home in Eustis, Fl. We immediately arranged for a 2 run numbers at Mecum for the first Sunday. This way, we have an entire week to interact with the thousands of Mecum customers using their Bid Goes On platform. A very effective method to allow sellers and buyers to negotiate a deal. Last week, a friend mentioned to another friend that we had purchased the 4 units at a casual lunch, they committed to buy the other two and are taking delivery today. It is my opinion that the Class A market is shrinking and Super C examples are becoming increasingly more popular. This doesn't mean Class A pushers are worthless, just have less buyers. Forest River did not explain to us why they sold these last units before the close of the year. I don't really need to know why, just pleased they did! I know with my own businesses, I often make decisions near the end/beginning of each year which may seem odd, but serve us in our particular situation. @icsamerica I understand how you would see this offering at a collector car auction to be odd. But the exposure to so many persons with the ability and interest to purchase has proven to be very beneficial for us over the past 40 years. Things we've sold at these auctions are wacky! $1mm 28' wood boat, 1947 Diamond Reo semi for $50k, 2006 Prevost Country Coach 45 motorhome for $600k, ect... Anyone is welcome to call to learn more even if you're not interested to purchase. The highest bid offered was $310K, which is in the profit zone, but well less than we know they're worth to a more motivated buyer.
@@ScottAles. They are only worth what someone is willing to pay. The fact that it didn’t come even close to the reserve says a lot. But there’s always a few people that are Klewless and will pay for stuff that isn’t worth it…best of luck. You will find those 1 or 2 Klewless buyers, so hang in there.
And NO pre delivery inspection. With a reported reserve at $400k, plus buyer’s fees/premium +/-~10%, it would appear that this “deal” is around 35% below MSRP. Is this a deal?
I bought my 2006 H3-45 Prevost the first time for over $500k. No warranty of course. I'm now owning that same coach for the 3rd time, no warranty. Many Prevost owners pay over a million $ without a warranty. Hundreds of 6+ figure collector cars sell daily across the globe, no warranty. Some people are simply not wired for risk/reward. 😊
Just for reference, if you search for a 45' Class A diesel pusher on RV Trader using these filters, 2024-2026, under $390k, nationwide, there are ZERO available. 🤷♂

Don’t spend this kind of money unless you can pay cash. I am learning the hard way that you become over/under on these coaches real quick. They lose about 50k per year
Very nice. Like the extra bunk in the front. Poor kitchen storage cabinet space and counter space to prepare food. Outside and awnings are great.

Correct
Is the DEF fill on the left side?
Is it ever? only on the high dollar coaches where the buyer realizes how much of a pain it is to put the DEF on the right side.

The key here is “no warranty” on the main coach construction.
Most coach corporations figure $10k-$15 on average on the 1 year coach warranty.
