Thank you for the presentation! Having learned, and /or read about Olauda Equiano, Phillis Whethley, David Walker, Dred Scott, Ida Wells, and Homer Plessy, and Emit Till, and "Just Mercy." by Bryan Stevenson, and "The Known World" by Edward P. Jones ..., then recently, visited the Legacy Museum / Peace & Justice Memorial in Montgomery, AL. I thought over about Thomas Jefferson, Frederic Douglass, and the President Abraham Lincon and W.E.B. Du Bois and what's taking places here and overseas today, winter, 2023.... My learning about the United States of America continues as I wonder what my duty as a citizen of this nation.

That's pretty ironic. I happened to find out about the museum a few days before its opening when I came across a headline on Twitter, a platform that I barely use. Pure chance. But the article made it sound interesting and I decided to check it out. If you're in the area and able, I certainly recommend visiting.
