- The vietnam war is still raging on, with the US Marines being deployed to hold a trench defense against the viet cong. The Vietcong will receive 2,000 soldiers as reinforcements and the US Army will come in after 30 minutes of a hardcore defense to help the US Marines. This was made using the Men of War Assault Squad 2 Vietnam '65 mod battle simulator.

The Sheridan was a light tank, not artillery. It was armed with the Shillelagh anti-tank missile, which could defeat all Soviet armor at the time.
I think those were the m50 ontos?
I dont know how to spell them
But yeah the 2 vehicles that were dropped from the chinooks were not sheridans

Jason’s death could’ve been in a move. He singlehandedly took the position put just before the reinforcements arrived he died and when they get their they see Jason’s body next to the American flag and their all like Jason you were the best of use. Then the movie ends with Jasons funeral.

the m 551 Sheridan was an airborne light lank that came to fame in Vietnam it has a 152 mm gun it was designed to shoot the shillelagh anti-tank missiles but could use conventional munitions as well but it was frowned upon because it could mess up the targeting system for the missiles.

I played what I beleave was this mission and I beat it by running troops forward to claim equipment and ran them back.

I usually use a squad of combat engineers on the main roads hill to the hq. mines, wire & sand bags.

Note: Viet Cong were Southern Veitnamese that had the same views at the North, if the invading forces were Northern Veitnamese they would just be considered enemy soldiers, still a good mod

And the US to Viet Cong death rate was about 21% in the war. Some 47,378 US troops died compared to 223,748. The wounded rate was about 26%. Your numbers are pushing 45%. That's a good metric to try and beat, at that lvl of difficulty.
not every scenerio is going to play out the same, you're also forgetting ARVN, ROK, Thailand, and Laos also partcipated in Vietnam

My grandpa was involved in our operation to remove Panama’s dictator and during the operation a Sheridan was airdropped and completely missed the drop zone and the army just left it so there’s just a Sheridan somewhere in the Panamanian jungle
