I feel like I'm the only one who thinks Yohane is actually... Vergil's NIECE.
Hear me out:
She's clearly a chuuni weeb... and Dante seems like the kind of chad-dad that would let his daughter do pretty much whatever she wanted as long as she embraced it 100%.
It makes for an amusing mirror between Dante + Yohane and Vergil + Nero - totally different relationships between two very different sides of the family.
I also think Vergil would (sadly) have a simpler time connecting with Dante's child than his own - with the implied lack of responsibilities there, he might have a somewhat easier time lowering the barriers.
As a bonus, this theory means this entire song and dance here is just Vergil babysitting Dante's kid and humoring her - when she says "Switch" and the mashup reverses, that's them switching roles in whatever little play-fight they're having. At the end, when Vergil delivers his classic "I won't lose next time. Hold onto that until then," it's actually him giving a gift to his cute niece without actually admitting to giving her a gift.
