    I have embossing folders they are hard plastic.. Is that what you are recommending? Or did you emboss a material inside the folder as you do with paper for card making? Confused as to the material used. Thanks,

      Hi Ann Marie, if you are referring to how I got the pattern on the resin, I used the plates you use to imprint onto clay. I'm afraid I don't know their correct name.

      They aren't stickers, but words I had printed onto clear acetate film at a print shop. I explain more in this article: www.resinobsession.com/resin-tutorials/resin-pendant-ideas/

    What do you print your “words” onto, looks clear? How do you prevent the resin from smearing the ink on the words?
    Loved the video and would love to try this, Thank you for sharing it with us.

      Hi Barbara, those are words I had printed on clear transparency sheets at a copy store. When I've had a professional shop do it, I haven't had to seal them before using in resin.

    is there a video showing how to make the text or lettering that you put in to these ?

    • @ResinObsession
      @ResinObsession  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kev, I don't have a video on that. All I did was create the words/fonts in Word, then printed on a piece of white paper. Then, I took the paper to a copy shop for them to print on a clear transparency sheet. You can then cut out the transparency sheet words to fit your pendants.

    Hey! I want to put a picture of someone on the back of my watch with resin (kinda like a locket). What would be a good way to make a mold around the back of the watch so the pic can cure in the resin? Should I take silicone and make a ring around the back of it and then take it off when the resin drys?

    • @ResinObsession
      @ResinObsession  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Instead of doing this, why not glue the picture to the back of the watch and some resin on top? While not exactly what you want to do, this article will give you some ideas: www.resinobsession.com/resin-tutorials/domino-resin-pendant-tutorial/

      ResinObsession Awesome! Thank you. I’m wanting to put a picture of my family on the back of my cheap Casio digital watch before boot camp. I think it’s a cool idea I call a “Man Locket”. Anyway, quick question. After I glue the pic down with the resin glue, how do I keep the resin on it while it drys? Does it kinda form a natural dome around or do I need to make a silicon mold?
