I love how muscular and unhinged she is lol, but she's also a lot sadder. Just generally more intense, this captured Toriel's energy (from her like 10 minutes of game time) pretty well considering it's so different to how people usually portray her (as sad about what she's lost but composed about it). She swor... no I dreamed it.
Unfortunately I was expecting the usual interpretation of her with the title, but my brain wouldn't let me move on until I watched and confirmed it, I'm glad this captured her pretty well

The animation is amazing, the personality and charm are vivid. I love these visualizations of in-game stuff and this brought me back to glory days just after the game came out. The only problem is that Toriel's voice conveys her heartbreak so devastatingly well!

Every note of this animation and song is absolute perfection, but above all, my favorite detail about the whole thing is that Toriel was given actual goat eyes, with sideways pupils. That's friggin' awesome attention to detail, and I love it.
I love the reference from 2:05 - 2:13 of the events of phone calls she gives you when you wait in the section she leaves you in, and than at 2:42 with Chara this is genuinely an amazing animation with very great work put into it, I love the little details

As someone who has drifted far away from this fandom a while ago and was curious about this, I have watched this video for 1 minute and 2 seconds and loved it immediately. The humor added through the animation tugs at the soft spots in my heart that the song just could not budge.

The reference to Toriel glaring at a Froggit plus the annoying dog eating her phone and napping was a neat detail! (You can even see it ringing during the credits!!!!!!!) A lot of love went into this, it was so worth waiting for.
This is hilariously adorable, and the animation is smooth as hell, everything is so lively, the facial expressions seem natural, and the lip synching is practically perfect. You should absolutely be proud and I hope these 4 years of work were worth it to you, because this is a phenomenal video.

this is hilarious and so well animated and i’m not surprised it took 4 years because god damn it needed that long to turn out so good! the voicing and animation is impeccable and it’s so funny yet so sad at the same time?? it does an amazing job portraying toriels struggles as she’s trying to keep it together despite the situation she’s in. and that tiny glimpse of chara or asriel sitting on the golden flowers was crazy. i also really loved the fight sequence, it feels like i got to watch the fight from her perspective for the first time and it was done so well, even though it was supposed to be comical the fire was animated beautifully and the whole scene was just so cool

As an animator myself I understand how this took four years.. I hate backgrounds too man, and matching the shading with backgrounds is absolutely HELL! If you did the voice yourself as well that’s freaking amazing! I love this and it deserves more recognition

This is hilariously adorable, and the animation is smooth as hell, everything is so lively, the facial expressions seem natural, and the lip synching is practically perfect. You should absolutely be proud and I hope these 4 years of work were worth it to you, because this is a phenomenal video.
The animation and voice acting are both great. Just with how sad and desperate she sounds. The animation just matches that so well. 2:28 really got me with how she breaks and just starts babbling.

I remember seeing the WIP from 2 years ago, and now that the animation is complete, well, I just want to congratulate and commend you. I'm sure this took *a lot* of work, and I'm really grateful you stuck it through. It makes me so happy to see some more love for Undertale these days. I was also feeling a little somber this evening, but seeing this really lifted my spirits. Stay awesome!
this is hilarious and so well animated and i’m not surprised it took 4 years because god damn it needed that long to turn out so good! the voicing and animation is impeccable and it’s so funny yet so sad at the same time?? it does an amazing job portraying toriels struggles as she’s trying to keep it together despite the situation she’s in. and that tiny glimpse of chara or asriel sitting on the golden flowers was crazy. i also really loved the fight sequence, it feels like i got to watch the fight from her perspective for the first time and it was done so well, even though it was supposed to be comical the fire was animated beautifully and the whole scene was just so cool

As an animator myself I understand how this took four years.. I hate backgrounds too man, and matching the shading with backgrounds is absolutely HELL! If you did the voice yourself as well that’s freaking amazing! I love this and it deserves more recognition
