Bank notes are some of the prettiest artwork one can find. I'm surprised that the original artwork proofs aren't a big thing in the art collection genre. Just like original sketches for comic book characters, these proofs and plates surely have more value than the bills they inspired and printed?
@@user-fv5ms4sz8e Proofs and Specimens are very collectible and sometimes valuable, just depends on the rarity of the issued note, I have seen proofs achieve big prices at auctions. Personally don’t collect proofs or specimens. Thanks for your comment, banknotes are an enjoyable hobby, but also the historic importance and beautiful designs that different countries and cultures portray through banknotes.
