    "No matter what, Mother Nature will decide at what level you are going to operate - and Mother Nature made that decision for us." Well said Jimmy! Foiling is the future of this sport and this epic offshore foiling adventure will mark a major milestone in sailing history. Congrats on a successful mission, Team Falcon!

      BS. Just like in the army/navy where each and every operation is a success LOL.
      Foiling is only possible with specific conditions where everything has to be perfect. This boat finished like an F1 car on a rally special - FAIL.

    Да уж... Какой же я старый. Лет 30 назад "Торнадо" был потрясением для меня, а этот катамаран уже какая-то фантастика.

    I Imagine the even though the Hydroptere is older technology, it can handle a rougher sea state than the F4 Cat. Anyone have stats to compare?

    Nice to dream but in open ocean I don't see you foiling a whole hell of a lot. If just passaging in slightly rough conditions becomes a "exercise in survival" then not really the best design for making normal sailing runs to anywhere......

    I have a revolutionary design that has taken almost ten years to develop which is both fast and safe. You will hear about it in the future, called the WingFoil hull.

    the fact that you could pitch pole this and you can't do that on a mono hull is the reason that Volvo ocean race or any other race like that is going to say no to cats and foils.

      You'd have half the fleet reaching the finish line.

      The vendee globe, happening right this instant, has had foils implemented into the latest generation of IMOCA 60s. While not cats, the awesome potential of the foils is showing already.

      edward stables oh yea mono foils I'm completely for, I just think that its too dangerous for cats to be sailing through the south Atlantic and having to deal with situations like pitch poling.

    • @edwardstables5153
      @edwardstables5153 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ADB Pro Agreed, the potential danger is huge. I can see it working on larger cats, but not one this small.

    And it is God who decides what "mother nature" will do on a certain day - as He has decreed since eternity past. (Isaiah 46:9-11)

    • @cryx4
      @cryx4 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmmm... No one cares about your religious bs.

    • @SAWOK12
      @SAWOK12 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      So anyone saying 'mother nature' is in control of things is fine, but anyone declaring that God is in control gets a negative response? Can 'mother nature' save your sorry soul from eternal damnation? No - 'she' doesn't care about that religious bs. either, because 'she' doesn't exist.

    • @cryx4
      @cryx4 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sawok Productions No, because Mother Nature is a term used to describe nature. To allow 'her' to be personified. Not to save my imaginary soul from imaginary damnation.

    • @SAWOK12
      @SAWOK12 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      YaZzy - so please explain why it is that many people do personify nature to the extent that 'she' makes decisions (using Sperry below as my example); can be prayed to for counsel and mercy; is thanked for bringing blessings, and is cursed for bringing misfortune upon people. I see your point but the truth is that people have rejected God and then substitute 'Mother Nature' to explain what now becomes inexplicable to them because of rejection of the true God. Please permit me to expand in brackets below for clearer understanding...
      Romans 1:19-20 "Because the thing which may be known of God is clearly revealed within them, for God revealed it to them [for example, little children, when they say "who made the stars?" are seeking for their Creator].
      Rom 1:20 For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being realized by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse.
      Rom 1:21 Because, knowing God [cannot deny the complexities of the universe, see youtube clips on 'fine tuning the universe' for example], they did not glorify Him as God, neither were thankful. But they became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened [by false truths like big bang theories, theories (not science) of evolution, paganism etc.].
      Rom 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became fools [it takes more faith to think the universe came about through from 'nothing' through a series of 'accidents' over billions of years, easier to believe that God created everything]
      Rom 1:23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed animals [Ancient and Eastern religions worship animals too], and creeping things [idols of serpents, snakes, lizards etc. still abound in South-east and South Asia today].
      Rom 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves [no absolute standards because of rejection of God's laws, people follow their own sinful desires]
      Rom 1:25 For they changed the truth of God into a lie, and they worshiped and served the created thing [Earth worship, mother nature, Gaia, paganism, worship of the heavens, animism etc.] more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. "

      Sawok Productions Im going to be honest here, I have not revised any sort of scripture because I simply don't believe in a book that's only proof is in itself. However, I can make an argument to your first point; as a sailor, it is not uncommon to ask 'mother nature' for safe passage etc, similar to how I assume a Christian would ask for god. I can also say, however, that this 'prayer' is merely superstition. Nothing more.
