If something happens in front of a karen that objectively contradicts what she has said within her most recent sleep cycle then she will be defeated. However if it is the next day then she will say "that isn't what I said" she will truly believe her claim to be so. It also needs to happen organically or she will use an uno reverse card and call you an obsessive narcist.

@@Meliaison I would recommend massaging your scalp,I've been growing out my hair and massaging my scalp helped alot, eat healthy and drink lots of water ofcourse but another thing is start looking into hair products like their ingredients because some ingredients that are in hair products aren't good for your hair like in your shampoo you should use a sulfate free shampoo because sulfate is very drying to the hair cuticle and when the hair is stripped of all its nutrients it's more likely to break off or split (split ends) and if you have split ends you have to cut it because the cuticle can't grow back together, and when looking for a conditioner look for a silicone free conditioner because silicone is also not good for your hair, silicone gives conditioner or hair cream amazing slip and shine which means like it's easier to detangle your hair and it's leaves a shine but the slip and shine is due to plastic because silicone is like a plastic that covers the cuticle which gives the illusion of shine, the reason why it's bad for your hair because it coats your hair and is very difficult to get out of your hair ,the only way to get it out of your hair is by using a sulfate shampoo which is very stripping,it also very heavy on the cuticle which leads to build up and it's will be very hard for the cuticle to try and grow with silicone on it or on the scalp because it's like a plastic covering so it will be hard for the cuticle to break through it the same with petrolatum and mineral oil ,also you shouldn't cut your hair too often many people cut their hair every 6 weeks which really doesn't give your hair a chance to grow you should cut your hand only when needed personally I cut my hair 1-2 a year but if you take care of your hair moisturise it and look after it you won't need to cut your hair because when we cut our hair we cut damaged, unmoisturised, split and dry hair but if you look after it you don't need to cut it,sorry it is this long I just wanted to give you the proper info

You can grow your hair to _look_ longer with dreads or permanent braids; the individual hairs might fall out as they reach the end of their growth cycle, but because they're intertwined with all the other surrounding hairs, the friction prevents them from falling out completely and they'll form a long strand that could potentially grow indefinitely. You know, like how rope works.

@@rdizzy1 The "about 6 inches" claim is misleading most people's hair doesn't grow that much in a year. Its just around to give people easier calculations. The average growth rate varies alot from different groups of people. The average can range from .33in to almost (not even) .5in per month. The main group of people whos hair grows closest to 6 inches a year on average are certain groups in Asia. Even then its still not quite 6in. My point is, when trying to calculate hair growth over a longer period of time, the "6inches a year" claim isn't very accurate for most people.

I'm a male metalhead and I used to have hair all the way down my back up until about 10 years ago, then one day i decided to have it cut down to shoulderlength, and a few years later to a very short length of a few centimeters. Since about 1,5-2 years I decided to grow it back out (with semi regular visits to the barber shop to get rid of split hair and get it into some shape) and I'm now back to shoulderlength. I'll probably stop once i have 10-20 more cm. Long hair just feels more naural to me

I haven't cut my hair in maybe 5-8 years and it just stays lower back length which is pretty much what I want anyway. Individual hairs eventually fall out so it's not like the amount of split ends grows over time either. Over the years the condition of my hair has mostly correlated with how frequently I use conditioner. I guess better overall health matters too.
It could be cool to optimize by trimming some of the ends and layering a bit but there are so many things that seem far more efficient use of money when it comes to improving the quality of my life. Same for the time and effort it would take to learn to cut them myself well enough for it to actually be a noticeable improvement. Liking your hair's natural cycle is pretty nice, but I do shade it into being a bit darker and colder.

I suspect my hair could get pretty "biblical" if I were to let it keep growing. It got down to my hip level last year and I had no signs it may break or stop growing. I mentioned it to my mom since she'd had hair of a similar length a few years ago and she told me a great aunt I'd never met had floor length hair. So apparently we just have the less common type of hair that can grow a lot. I got bored with long hair though and am now rocking mid length so I can do 1940s styles.

4:30 cutting/shaving doesn't speed hair growth, but split ends cause friction and snagging when you brush, so the occasional trim *does* help you keep from pulling hairs out sooner than need be.

I have never been able to grow my hair long. Never. My mother was able to grow her hair down to her waist many times, and both my sisters are able to grow long hair. My hair grows to shoulder length and that's it. It's the strangest thing. I keep it pretty short now, but from my teens to my forties, I tried growing it several times. The longest I ever went was 13 years. Thirteen years of growing my hair (with a tiny trim once a year to take care of split ends), and it still only grew down to my shoulders!

It has really kept my hair moisturized and I totally agree that all natural products and shampooing less can help prevent them!

Not a totally accurate telling of the story of Sampson. God gave him strength, but he had to keep certain promises, like no strong drink, no touching dead animals, and of course not cutting his hair. I think that's called the Nazarite Vow. Sampson broke all of the promises that God wanted him to keep, and he stopped relying on God. As a result He took away his strength. That's how the story went. But whatever.
