Gosh, like many have stated…a true blessing. I remember looking at my test 30 years ago. I was shocked b/c it took 3 years to get there and a lot of heartache. It’s so great that you were in tune with your body and it worked quickly for you both. Congratulations! Such a sweet video!

Yay! Blessings to you and your growing family! So funny because before you posted that you were pregnant I saw a picture of you and I had a thought of you being pregnant. This has happened a few other times with family members. It's kinda weird but awesome at the same time. Thank you for sharing your exciting news!

So excited for you both! Your story sounds SO much like mine and my husband's. LOL We got pregnant the first round we were trying too! I was SUPER sick the first 2 1/2 months and had to get a shot finally because I couldn't even keep water down. I knew I was pregnant from the nausea and not to share TMI... my breasts were super tender (which I had NEVER experienced prior to becoming pregnant).

Im happy for you Meghan! I was taking the test around the same time as you and was also supposed to have my baby in October. But in week 10 I got a misscarrage.
I’ve been following you for years But I haven’t been able to watch your latest videos. For us its soon 2 years of trying. I try to support my body and stress as little I can But it’s so damn hard. Hope you have a safe pregnancy ❤️ Blessings 🙏🏼

It makes me remember when I took my test, last year May 12th. My husband (back then boyfriend) was with me while I took my pregnancy test and the line came in so quick, I couldn't believe it. My husband said: "Yes, it's clearly positive!" And I answered: "The 2 minutes aren't over yet!" I took a test after dinner, not even in the morning🙈 I didn't feel different, I thought my period would come very late. I was just very hungry.. Now I'm a twin mom🍼🍼

Congratulations! Pregnancy is exciting (and for me it was a bit nerve racking) BUT having your baby in your arms for the first time is absolutely everything. Nothing else matters and everything becomes clearer. I know you'll be a great mom!

That feeling of getting a positive test is unreal! I was so shaky. It felt like a dream!
Congratulations! I teared up watching this…I remember those 3 minutes on the timer waiting to look at the test are the longest 3 minutes ever! The suspense is real!
After giving birth to my son (he’s 18 months old now), I compiled a list of resources, websites, and TH-cam channels about pregnancy, and childbirth, and postpartum that I found helpful to learn from during my pregnancy. I find labor and delivery fascinating now! I was able to have an unmedicated birth by using the breathing techniques I learned. It was such an empowering experience. Let me know if you’d like the list of resources and I’m happy to share it with you…I share the list with all my friends who are expecting 🤍

Congrats Meghan!!! What a coincidence - I actually recently found out I’m pregnant as well! Can totally relate to the calm, disbelieving reaction - it definitely took a little while for the reality to hit me. Excited to be on this journey with you though! Love your videos and can’t wait to see more. Would love if you shared more about your pregnancy journey and what food/recipes and lifestyle changes you implement in preparation for the birth of your little one!
Some tips (you might already know most of this, but in case not this is what I have found helps):
- Naan bread or Trader Joe’s Naan crackers are great for keeping something in your stomach that’s mild and won’t upset it (keeping them by your bed for when you wake up helps 👌)
- protein will help ward off nausea especially - Peanuts/peanut butter, eggs, etc. if you can stomach it
- stay ahead of the nausea by eating all the time (not big meals, but lots of snacks and small meals)
- sleep on the left side and/or propped up (helps to avoid heartburn and such)
- tums and Colace are safe to take during pregnancy and help with gas, bloating, and keeping things moving (sorry, tmi lol)
- depending on how much iron you need and naturally get, prenatals with iron could make you feel worse and be harsh on the stomach. You may want a prenatal without iron or get just the individual supplements that your body needs (ex: Folate, D3, B vitamins, etc)

Hi, Meghan! I’m so so happy for you! ❤️ I’m currently experiencing that same anxiety as my period is 3 days late and I’m trying not to freak out 😅 I’m thinking about taking a pregnancy test next Sunday as my partner wants me to wait a bit more. Wish me luck… 🙏🏻

I remember well the first time i saw that faded line!! I also took the test alone, just because i wanted that moment to be just mine, then i prepared a special announcement for my husband!!

I know this is totally ridiculous, but I took 8 test in one day to confirm I was pregnant! Lol I guess I couldn’t believe it. I was diagnosed with PCOS and was told it would be very difficult to get pregnant but I got pregnant on the first cycle of trying too!
