Liverpool are allowed to charge £20m for Rhian Brewster but Aston Villa can’t charge the same for Kellyman?
I don't mind teams finding loopholes behind psr rules because it's the FA's fault for having rules with easy loopholes
Didn’t arsenal sign raya on a loan with an obligation to avoid breaching psr and ffp
Matt the smaller clubs need to sell their youth players to abide by the rules. While teams like Arsenal, Man City and Manchester United can spend whatever money they like and get away with it. The system is rigged and the premier league is unfair to any of the teams out of the top 4. You need to wind your neck in a bit about these transfer prices as this is the only way other teams can stay competitive. We’re not all made of money like your precious Arsenal
I cant speak for other clubs but villas owners literally said the rules are broken and need to be changed and they told them to piss off, so now they are showing why they are broken and your gonna have to deal with it
The whinging about transfers is absurd. Not to mention the reason Raya was a loan with an obligation to buy was because they were breaching the regulations. People in glass houses should not throw stones
Arsenal couldnt sign Raya last season cause they had spent to much, therefor they sign him this season. All prem clubs does in someway cheating against the books.
Villa sold chukwuemeka in 2022 well before this PSR problem for 20million when he was 18, the Kelly man deal is literally the same thing and arguable Kellyman is better
If you think this is bad wait until we finesse a Saudi club to give us 70 odd Mil for Matheus Nunes
He said Forest have ‘financial issues’ not the case we have plenty of money to spend if we were allowed too, we’ve just been shafted by these ridiculous PSR rules that only benefit the ‘Big Clubs’ Villa have just qualified for the champions league yet have to sell they’re best players? Make it make sense
Arsenal sold Balogun for 30 million, made 2 appearance’s for Arsenal. But Elliot Anderson whos played over 40 times in the premier league goes for few million more and you are crying like a baby🤣🤣🤣
@@eeliyan1174means nothing to me if he couldnt get a game in prem he shouldnt be worth 30 million

I've been watching these videos for a very long time. I'm sad to say this is the first video I disliked.. some of these do stink.. but not all of them. A player is worth how much someone is willing to pay
Raya was on loan because they wanted to avoid psr

'Unkown' English wonderkid = £22 Million 😡
@@adamphilip1426 Can already tell you like your own comment. Who tf writes ‘Unkown’. You really gotta be special needs to write it out twice.
Its not really, its what clubs value them at. Minteh was on loan too PSV. 19 g/a. €42m euros because its what newcastle valued him at. €70m for Mateus Nunes even though he had a €40m release clause
These are my favorites kinds of videos Matt! Love hearing your opinions about Arsenal, transfers, and just general football! I look forward to seeing more!
Big six fan complaining about inflated transfers, yet they payed 72mil for Pepe and 65mil for havertz 😂
Unsure why you’re reacting like this? Why should Newcastle and Villa be punished for making Champions League in the last two season and have to sell their two best players in Saint Maximin & Douglas Luiz? Clubs are twisting the rules because of the absurdity of the PSR rules in the first place
Bro turning into matt le tissier with all these conspiracy theories 😂
I partially agree with what you stated about Anderson. But fact is that even Arsenal does this. They want to sell ESR and NKetiah. they could easily use them next season but they want to sell to get a good war chest to buy other players.
All these clubs are transferring between themselves to balance their books, it isn’t right
I see the Newcastle thing as smart business by bending the rules without breaking them to gain an advantage
estevao willan remember his name 🥶💙
You do know swap deals have been happening for years dont you? Didnt hear you cry arseing when shite like Henderson were going to Saudi for well over value last summer
Investigate Manchester City's transfers and all your questions will be answered...
Is Elliot Anderson’s Career Trajectory really all that different at Forest…?

Also btw Chelsea are signing some unknown Spanish striker from AthletiCo Madrid for almost 60 mil he has played 3 games for AthletiCo scored ONCE and now he's worth 60 mil
That’s a bit different. His name Samu Omorodion and he’s a Spanish striker who is 21 and also had a very impressive loan spell with Deportivo Alaves scoring 8 goals or 9 in the league. Don’t recall which one but impressive nonetheless and his expected goals was also fairly high for a young striker. He’s a great player who has massive potential. When he played against Barca, we could have at least lost that game by 4 goals if he was more clinical. He’d be a great signing
@@aaronnava1677 he's not a bad player but surely not worth 60 mil
@@brainersschooldevelopers3509 with inflation the way it is because of the premier league, Saudi league, and PSG, I would disagree
I think elliot andersonnis less suss given his fbref has him in high percentiles across the board, and he's played 20+ prem games
But when some random club Im not gonna mention, cough arsenal cough, wanted to pay 90 milion for Gambling Toney? 😂 that guy not worth even 1/3 of that
There is a loop hole and teams are exploiting it that need too, maybe the loop hole should get fixed?
Crying about transfers and calling a man who broke his ankle after a horror fall injury prone 🤣
Welshman Osian Roberts manages Como with Fabrigas as the assistant atm actually!
Lucky villa? Go do some actual research m8 villa already cleared psr issues with the luiz sale, and kellyman is definitely going to have a huge career, makes me laugh not one person blinked a eye when Chelsea bought chukamaka from us for £20 million 😂 blame the ridiculous rules about pure profit from home grown, and imagine actually going on the transfer market site to actually value a player 😂
It’s not fair market value though. It’s a clear transfer to get around FFP rules
@@macaulaycatterson5814as stated above we didn’t need to sell kellyman as we was already clear
And them buying a LB from Chelsea is a coincidence? Villa also swapping iroegbunam with dobbin at Everton for overpriced fees is also a coincidence? Cmon it’s blatant
@@jackninetynine5036the actual is why villa have to sell their best player after getting Cl and arsenal is allowed to signed rice and havertz
Matt, great video - you should do this more often. I just wanted to say 'English Tax'. Jarrad Branthwaite is a classic example. I'm a United fan and if INEOS pay 50m+, everyone's losing their shit!
Anyone who knows anything about football would say £50m is a bargain for Jarrad Branthwaite. Realistically it should take £70m for Everton to even come to the table.
Inflation in football mate
Your logic of Lyon and Chelsea helping forest and villa doesn’t make sense. Why would they do that as surely it’s better for other teams to get punished so Chelsea have a better chance of being higher up the league? Also I don’t remember your hate and moaning for Arsenal spending 70 million on havertz who did nothing at Chelsea, also you guys signing Pepe for 75 million was a great signing when he hadn’t done much
They are helping eachother. It’s way worse to be punished by psr than it is to have an agreement with another club
Everyone is jealous Arsenal are spending but we're a top 5 naturally rich team in the world mate 😂
@@mikem8211 I dont care about arsenal i really dont my point was relevant to when matt was complaining about arsenal spending stupid amounts on people like havertz and pepe who flopped yet he moans about others doing it
Business is business.
Problem is also this encourages teams to sell their academy players which I don’t think is good
Honestly Matt, you nailed it right in this video. I may have my opinions when it comes to your career mode in game. But respect to your opinions for IRL football. Totally agree with the inflation and under table dealings happening within football
Palmer had a Market value of 18m before Chelsea spent 40+ for him. So yeah this is perfectly a none issue IMO, its just business dealings. Like he said you are worth what someone wants to buy you for, 30m plus add ons for Estevao. Players for inflated prices has been going on for a while now, except now it seems clubs will use it more wisely
@@R3GinalD26 I do agree with you about inflation ongoing for a while now but the fact that it seems like one club 'helping' another club to beat the system is kinda ruining it for some other leagues and clubs. I mean within this video itself, we can see how Garcia went for a lower price than Anderson (not sure if this how to spell it).
@@chrono-tales Fair point, but it's not really a "prem" thing is it? As we see here even Olympiacos or is it Lyon are willing and okay with paying those inflated prices. The clubs have just found a new way to use inflation of values now there's really no way they can stop it

A players transfer fee is based upon how much his current club and the buying club value him at.
Nobody questioned Man City last summer who sold an unproven Cole Palmer to Chelsea for £50mil.
The fact your using the website Transfer Markt aswell to make your point is embarrassing as this website is just all guess work and not factual or up to date 😂
Except these players aren't worth it and everyone knows that. They're only intermediaries in balance sheet manipulation

Liverpool sold Rhian Brewster to Sheffield United for £25mil who wasn’t worth that much but again nobody complained.
Villa sold Carney Chukwumeka to Chelsea for £20mil 2 years ago who had only played 3 games in the premier league and nobody cared.
This is just fans of Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool crying because they haven’t been able to poach the best players from the likes of Everton, Newcastle and Villa which is the reason PSR was introduced to protect the Sky 6 and to stop the premier league from being to competitive.
