Technical Analysis works. But you have to find your way how to apply it. At very least it is a very good risk management tool because it’s unbiased in telling you the truth about your positions and portfolio.
Thanks for the insight. I traded for two years however when I lost my job I had to stop trading. I doubled my money the first year with your strategies and knowledge. I did lose 25% of my gains late in the second year (all my fault, got greedy) and that actually scared me into stopping once I had lost my job, however I am forever thankful and look forward to building a new portfolio with your teachings. The working full time while trying to trade one is definitely the case for me. Usually my setups happen after I get busy at work, and I miss the trade, but I can't put on an order ahead because I need a candlestick setup confirmation before placing the trade.
Go on the higher timeframe, I did the same thing and it can work, as it has for me. Though I have a desk job where I can check my personal computer regularly. It is possible to work and learn trading, it just takes longer and more effort.

Basically, you covered everything that says nothing works in market, and eventually you lose money. Why not just focus on what does? Yes, we know indicators can backfire, news can backfire etc etc. that is why 90-95% are in loss! Everyone knows why they lost, but no one knows what works!
I am not questioning the validity of what you say. But this video was certainly a Debbie Downer. I have only been in 6 months, but reliably trade ever day the market is open. I normally play pre-market, and have to mostly contend with just people, as versus the big market machines. I find that easier. If I had a larger account, liquidity would certainly be a problem in pre-market. But, that is not my current circumstance, so it is not my worry for now.

I've been trading four years and made money and lost money like every trader out there. In four years I managed to lose $14k which is nothing compared to people who have lost more and even blown up there account. I have never blown up my account, I just got tired of the psychological up's and downs that come with trading. They say there's a 90% failure rate, I say it's more like 95% failure rate. Imo trading is a suckers game the only people making money from trading are the course sellers, brokers, and market makers. Do yourself a favor quit trading and put your money into an SP 500 index fund and let it ride for 15-30 years. You will be rich in the long run, but nobody wants to be rich in 30 years everybody wants get rich quick now and that doesn't work.
