Great fights. I don't know if you know this already, but something cool I saw another PvPer do was take their MWD offline once they were brawling. It will remove the capacitor penalty (25%) from having the MWD, giving you more total cap to play with. You don't really need the MWD anyway if you're point blank, scrammed and fighting to the death.
Mate that was epic! Your narration as always is on point, thank you for keeping it real time, I had to chuckle when you started to panic though in that last fight. As always, the highlight of my week
Great fights! On the last epic fight off-lining your MWD would have increased your normal cap regen (not that I ever remember to do it when I'm under pressure) also a judgement call wether you keep the neut running or not. Keep the videos coming I'm really enjoying them!
I loooove the rupture, long time favorite of mine. I never dual rep'd it thou, im going to give that a go. I do have an XL-ASB fit thats nuts too! Not only do I bring 4 more ammo types, I exchange the web for a shield hardener. This gives the XLASB a ton more tank and lets you hang on longer against groups of targets, specifically destroyers. A well flown dual armor Rupture beats the XLASB one, but not by a lot. If it's the MWD version shown here, the dual rep one gets dunked. If the dual armor one can hold range and keep the neut pressure on, the hardener and eventually AB will turn off. If not, the XLASB one does waaay more damage. Hold on tight!
Great video as always! It occurred to me during the last fight that you were over-tanking for some of that… might have cost you your cap in the long run (perhaps just keep pulsing it for one heated cycle to maximise efficiency rather than letting it run cold for that whole time).
Question about that 1st fight: Given that the augoror would always neut you out, would it have been possible to neut him back, given you would cap out anyway after the 1st rep cycle?
Just getting back into Eve Solo after a few years away from the game so loving this video's to catch up on meta. One question I hope you see and answer, back when I was solo around faction war if I got into a brawling situation where manoeuvre wasn't important, and I'm being capped out by neuts, I used to just disable my MWD in the middle of the fight as I think it reduces overall capacitor by 15% ? Might be wrong there, but by disabling it you would get that 15% back and it can really make a difference. Is this still the case? I must test this out.
Move the nut to the mid slot, you'll be able to overheat a bit better, also put cb on top slot, and mwd bottom, same reason (you did it correctly with lows)
@@sabresg I got a medium autocannon slapped onto it. No drones. But i got collision accel and the attack cycle boost rig. Got gyrostabilizers too. HELP

Glad you enjoyed it mate, yeah the panic set in on that last fight and i messed up. Was still an awesome fight that went for ages. 👍

Thanks for the tips and cheers for watching!
Keep them coming sabre. Love the content. Cant wait for vid on navy comet💪
Thanks mate glad you liking the vids! 👍
nice work, love a good ruppy!
Yeah there pretty fun to fly! 👍
Amazing fights, I got a question though. Why do you not turn on your scram/disruptor at the beginning of the fights?
I normally do activate the scram, but it was being deactivated due to neuts or low cap.
Tip: kill the drones to the drone boat = easy win
Good tip!

Good point! I have a tendancy to overtank at times.
Oooo, a rupture. You haven’t done one of these since I believe you ran a triple rep vexor
Yeah it's been a while since I've done a cruiser! 😀
That Vexor fight had me narrating out loud!
Lol good stuff and thanks for watching! 👍
Good job !!!
Cheers mate! 👍
I wonder how this fit would do with a Nosferatu instead of the neut? Interesting fit though, thanks!
The nos would probably be pretty helpful.
Question about that 1st fight:
Given that the augoror would always neut you out, would it have been possible to neut him back, given you would cap out anyway after the 1st rep cycle?
Possibly and it may have created some cap pressure on him, but I chose to preserve cap so that I could rep incoming damage. 👍
@@sabresg but you are out of cap after the cercle of cap . You can use the 2rep + scram+nut
Good video. You should offline your mwd if you are scrammed, gives you some more cap 😊
Thanks for the tip! 👍
Great vid man. How do you make your isk for pvp? I made an alt to learn solo pvp hopefully but I was thinking on how to manage standings as well.
Cheers mate! I make my isk through trading in lp from fw, abyssals and ded sites.
@@sabresg how do you manage standings? Or do you just accept your fate as being Kill on site for the opposing races.
@@collinbispott6847 I just accept it.
The rupture is fun. My first cruiser in eve.
It certainly is good fun to fly!

Not sure to be honest but I think I do recall hearing bout that on a youtube video somewhere, maybe blights wretch.
Good job Sabre.

Man, You didn't put our fight in your catalyst video.
oh well was still great. keep getting those fights man.
I will mate and sorry it dint make the vid. 👍

What’s ship do you plan to do next?
Not sure got a couple in the works plus will be introducing a new series aswell soon.
Cant wait. See you in the plexs. Bringing more 1v1s your way
Hek yeah!!
Lol Thanks mate! 👍
tank on this is like destroyer class same thing with dps but those reps are nice.
Reps are pretty nice. 👍
Trimark seems a waste on a dual active tank. More resists or dps rig would work better. Great vid though.
Thanks for the advice and cheers for the compliment I appreciate it mate!
You WILL eventually tempt me to resub.
It's definately a fun and unique game. 👍
389 DPS what the hell. I got my rupture clocking at 61.
What did I do wrong?
Wow really 61 DPS on a cruiser is very low you flying the exact same fit?

@@bjorn1439 is it only one autocannon? That would explain it.
