😂 I see that new Tool album selection. I'd forgotten all about that. Still haven't heard it. And my copper rivets from Amazon arrived this morning 🥳...but I had to work all day 😂 eventually I'll start my first project.
Not only is your content super helpful, inspiring and informative, but it's also so entertaining to watch. Very cool editing!! And the whole throwing tools and items on the table is like the Leather Artisan's mic drop 😎
Nice work! Really like your videos! Thank you very much for bringing back memories!! I used to work as a cook at the Williamsburg Lodge many moons ago! That is some beautiful country out there and great history!! Thanks again!
Well my old ass needs to get out more , never saw Red Beer ! LoL ! Now I like the holder , maybe I'll try making one and see how it turns out . Love the video's ! Thanks for sharing your talent with us !
Nice leather work and a great video. Although I was looking for you poseable manikin and didn't see her...maybe she was just on break. Nice work thanks for sharing, keep toolin.
Nice and I appreciate the non music in the video. Can hold everything. I think I make a higher one with a loop for bottle. You drink beer with ice cubes. Never seen in here. Greetings from Germany
Hi thanks so much for the post: loved this. I would like to make it but sont know what you call the rivets you used to hold the piece together please? Thank a billion, I cannot make one to hold my coke can 😋. Xxx
@@MasconLeather I found something similar on Amazon called Positioning Squares, that are used for wood working. you can get both Hard Plastic and Aluminium.
Do you need a name for the beer cozy well I won’t give you the name but I’ll give you the inspiration think of that movie raising Arizona I forgot the John Goodman characters name or what those two guys were called but that might be a good place to start
damm amazing work... just have a couple of doubts, if the beer is cold the wetness wont mess up the leather? im impressed how good finished is your work... but... why? just because you can? if yes, i will take it as legitimate answer and i take it, lol.
I've made my own leather koozie and use it primarily for when I drink beer. Condensation has no adverse effect to the leather from my many many beers tested lol
I always watch your videos, but they're getting a little too high-speed for me to actually see what you're doing. Could you slow them down a bit (for us older folks)? :o)
Thank you for watching, Shirley! I completely see what you’re saying about the speed. It’s really a constant battle ..... if I go too slow, I hear “this video is way too long! Speed it up!” And if it’s too fast, I hear “it’s too fast”. The videos between 9 and 15 minutes on here would be 3 hours long if all included and at normal speed. The 22 minute video would have been 9 hours at normal speed. So I have to balance what’s in and what’s left out. Along with speed. I’ll slow my next one down a little .... but it’s still sped up some. (Other wise it would be 3 hours )
@@MasconLeather The viewer could click the settings button on the menu task bar of the video, choose playback speed and drop it down .5, .25 or whatever the preference is.
Killer video as usual! Any chance your machinist would be interested in making more of those squares? Between those and the straight edges/spacers you use for spacing, that would definitely be money well spent on Leathercraft!
(Looks like 100,000+ others disagree with you, but it’s all subjective. And 300 hours of video content is loaded to TH-cam every minute of every day. So you’ve got plenty of options. )

Best Beer...Hmmm wasn't that Cherry Dr. Pepper. Thanks for taking time to do the video and tour of the town!
Thanks for the support, sir! (I only had a 3 year old can of dr. Pepper nearby. Lol )

They’re copper rivets
What tool were you using to hold the spacer when you were doing the rivets, the tool in the middle at 8:09 ?
ha! snaked all my grandsons cereal boxes after you told me what you used!!
Perfect!!
Perfect!!
Nice!
Thanks for watching!
Another great video. What size rivets and burrs do you use? #9? #12? Thanks!
Thanks! Depending on project, I use 14, 12 and 9
@@MasconLeather thanks!
I am looking for the tool he is using to rivet the can wrap.
My son makes my rivet setters.
Interesting design.
Think it would work at an angle? (Wider top, thinner bottom?)
I make those as well. For pint glasses. See my Instagram page.
@@MasconLeather I've got you on Instagram, I'll definitely go take a look!
Perfect! Thanks for the support!
Not that anyone will read this 5 years later, but birch beer is almost red.

Great video! What was the thickness of the leather?
Keep up the great work!
5/6oz
What press do U use for makers mark ? . Thanks for posting .
It’s from harbor freight! And perfect !!! Thanks for watching!
What color is that Horween? I need some!
Black Dublin
@@MasconLeather who are some good suppliers of Horween in the USA?
The tannery row (actual Horween company)
TAPPED
Where did you get the stamp? Do you have to put something on it to make it stamp that color? Awesome work!
What stamp ?
What's the "cloth" you're using at 4:00? I see it in almost every one of your videos.
Just canvas
Amazing video
Thanks, Alan!
Do you have a link to a pattern for this?
I don’t sell my designs
where did you get your thick squares?
I had them made by a machinist

Where did you get your large bench block?
The anvil? Harbor freight
Mascon Leather the round one is at Harbor Fright?
Ooooh!!! No. The round one .... that’s some scrap I found years ago... no clue what it was even for.
Mascon Leather Thank you. I like the size for my bench. I’ll loot around. Great videos keep them coming.
Where can I get that exact hole punch you use? Lol
Not the rotery.
Stitching chisel? Hole punches?
@@MasconLeather the punch used for the first set of rivits. It's a trivial looking punch but I just like it. Something about the tools you use.
