Well, you can’t pick and choose the parts of your limited belief to judge other people, Jason. There are many rules in scriptures of the Talmud or the Bible, without realizing, that they have been meant for societies, that don’t had the mutual love within a relationship of two men. The only one who should judge it is God himself. Consensual love is never a mistake. Throughout history minorities have have been abused to be something evil just because they are minorities. It’s arrogant to to claim that God of all, what he created, needs you to feel entitled to judge people who haven’t chosen to be who they are. When he needed homophobic humans (and it’s a choice to be homophobic!) to change his mistake in his creation, he would not be almighty, when he would have created gays just to be judged, abused and even murdered uncountable times, he would be an asshole. There are so many creatures on this planet, who are gay, none of them is homophobic, except for humans. There are many rules in the scriptures that nobody cares about. The main task in each religion is to be a nice and loving person. Everybody has the task to be empathetic and should be a person of grace to charity. Bigot or naive interpreters of their individual religions ignore so many things, but like you, pick out one thing, which has been originally translated from old Hebrew or Aramaic, where there hasn’t been a word that makes a distinction between pederasty or same sex rape. As in the partriarchal societies of those times homosexuals were mocked by men, who considered female attributes and women themselves as well as something inferior, weak, seductive and related to the devil, homosexual persons were often rejected, abused, tortured and killed, most of them haven’t the possibility to have consensual relationships before the 19.th century. Of course there had been persons with power who could have same sex before, but most of them just had favourites, but no Love relationships like these two guys. The few kings and queens that had same sex relations, had been forced by their homophobic surrounding to give them up and lost not only their reputation and power, but often their lives. So it’s unlikely to translate these parts as disapproval from God. Till today gays are often abused and criminalized to underline the moral immaculate legitimation of rulers. Gays are used as scapegoats, for weirdest argumentations, like being the reason for COVID-19, droughts, floods, hurricanes and many things more. When you take a closer look, you can see, that catastrophes like that hit everybody, especially those who are so stupid and don’t wear masks, deny the climate change and think, scientists should be ignored. So when you are able to comment on TH-cam, you can supply yourself with education in the World Wide Web, if you do it thoroughly, you will understand the difference between believing and knowing.
