I love your adventures…you and Teena work well together. I have always enjoyed your genre of photography, i wish i had more time to do it. Hopefully i can change that this year.
Love your work. Set up my first darkroom in 1969 and by 1973 was developing color but B&W is still the best. The Ansel Adams Zone System was always my gold standard and I never attained that level of perfection.
Great images Keith. I live in McDonough Georgia, and I always enjoy exploring almost forgotten towns. Sadly most were doomed when the interstates were built and the trains quit stopping and just pass thru. Glad you are saving their memory
Hi, my dear friends from far away. This is really a gem of a video. The places you visited are beautiful and photogenic. You took beautiful pictures there, friend. It is because I have known you for a long time otherwise I would be jealous. But you deserve it and I hope you sell a lot of work. And everything you do not sell remains a very nice memory of this trip for yourself. I already knew that Teena has become a good videographer and she can also take pictures. But the fact that she is also very good at interviewing people is an addition to her talents. She is really becoming a jack of all trades and that certainly does the quality of the videos good. Teena is a great asset to your work, buddy. I am talking very impersonally about Teena now, but that is certainly not the intention, I have immense respect for her and her work. I also want to go in the direction that you are now taking. However, with this difference, it is not a side with houses of faded glory. I'm going to try to do this with some newer houses that are occupied but have something special for me. I've already started with it, there are already several photos on my website. I'll send you a link to my website via email because if I give a link here my comment will be deleted. I'm definitely going to watch this video a few more times. For me personally, this video is very educational and also very motivating, friend. I enjoy every video you present but videos like this one I really enjoy. In the field of photography, you are my biggest source of inspiration and motivate me to go out again to take photos outside. I'm also very grateful to you for that, buddy. And Teena shows that if you want to achieve something and do your best to learn everything a lot is possible. Thank you, Teena. I'm going to close and I'll send you the promised email. Thank you very much for this beautiful report. Warm greetings from the Netherlands, Antoine. PS. My photos are no longer on 500px I now have a website. Which is not quite to my liking yet but I am working on it.
Thank you Antoine I’m so happy to hear that you find our work inspiring. I’ll go read your email. Thanks for your kind words about Teena. She is a great asset works very hard to contribute to the work I do. She has truly become integrated into what I do which is now what “we” do together.
@@Keithdotson Hello, friend. I tried to order your book Wheeling. But the shipping costs are more than the price of the book. So this will have to wait a while, buddy. I would like to support you but this is beyond my budget. I don't understand why the shipping costs have to be so high. Even from the publisher itself in Europe, the shipping costs are not realistic. But who knows what will happen in the future that they will come to a reasonably affordable level. Sorry, Keith. Antoine.
Very kind of you! I know shipping costs are nuts! I just lost a good photo print job with a hotel in Hong Kong because shipping for two small prints with mats would have been $800+. That’s beyond unreasonable

Thanks for watching! I like learning people’s background with photography. Darkrooms are coming back into popularity again.

Thank you! I was amazed how much there is to shoot! I’ll bet you know some great spots that I missed.
