Wow! Those were some thick slabs. That's a nice dump trailer. I kind of wish I had mine back. Sometimes they are better than a dump truck depending on what you are doing. Stay safe Boss.
I love how you try to be nice to the tenants there the funny thing is is when I show up on a job the being nice attempts usually has gone out the window I started breaking concrete more than once at 6:30 in the morning the earliest I'm allowed to start by county law where I live sometimes you just got to do what you got to do keep up the good work have fun bobbing and weaving around obstacles :-) :-)
@@DIRT-BOSS We started out the rainy season fairly normal. We normally get rain Sept-June. Quit raining in March, April & May. This is going to be a bad fire year for Oregon again. A 1000+ dwellings burnt last. Millions of acres of timber land burnt last year. The smoke has been bad for the last 5 yrs.
Must be we been together a long time! Why, because I remember this place and the work you did. See, that's how impressive what you do means to us! Good thing in addition to 'my BIG DOZER' (I let you use) you have some smaller equipment of you'd never fit in there. Seriously, nice job, turning out well and glad YOU got to come back! Work safely and hug them all when you get home! Sonny
Not bad for a days work!! One or two tight squeezes there bud!! On a site like that over here, you would need temporary fencing all around the work area. Good job with the concrete origami too 😎🇬🇧
In certain applications, dump trailers are invaluable. This would have been the perfect job for The Beak attachment! Regardless, The DirtBoss got it done. On the the next one.
Just jumped over from Elite Earthworks. Gave you a shout-out and thanked you for advice on laying fabric. Always great to see brothers helping each other.
Great content as always - that was some THICK slabs, for sure. Thank you so much for taking all the extra time and effort to video this, Mike. Great stuff in tight quarters for sure. Looks like you were out there swingin' that sledge, too. Hate it that you're all alone out there, but you made it look easy.
Yeah that concrete laugh at me with the sledge ! Good eyes ! I tried breaking a corner piece off to get around that L where it was hooked in under the sliding glass door..
I was thinking... Breaking rocks is one of mankind’s oldest skills! Whether it was chipping out a knife, napping arrowheads, chiseling pyramid blocks or making gravel... It all results from breaking rocks. On the other hand, rocks themselves eventually turn into stones. Stones become gravel, sand then dust.... it is their fate. It was a pleasure watching you nurture those slabs into becoming rubble. Thanks for honoring mankind’s traditional preoccupation and helping those stones fulfill their destiny. Getting the results you want in the easiest way requires skill. As a modern day rock breaker.... it looks to me, that you’ve gained that skill. Sorry for waxing all philosophical... but, sometimes those random thoughts get stuck in my head!
@@DIRT-BOSS thanks for the reply. I have the same dump trailer but a different brand and it doesn’t like dumping heavy loads very well. I always have to be careful when loading material in it
@@DIRT-BOSS that’s probably why yours dumps better than mine then. My trailer only has a single ram scissor lift and I also have to load most of the load right in the center.
It's the DirtBoss 😎 YEAH buddy On a New Site clearing all that concrete that thick piece 🙄) black top and some dirt gotta have dirt it's the DirtBoss 😎 YEAH getting all that out of there the site is cleared and caution taped too DirtBoss 😎 Got it Done Great job DirtBoss 😎 and Thank U for the Great video 💪😎👍 as for the pandemic it's still raging on my end we're going under a state of emergency the #'s are going up fast 😓 be cautious about it DirtBoss 😎 U and your family keep safe 👍😷👍
Hey bud I'm sorry.i watch your vids as well as chris.mike matt nuts an so on but try using a heavy piece of concrete on top of the big patios you haven't busted yet drop it dead center an it should give it would be a bit faster just tryn to help my brother.

Yes sir I hear you The first day soft and quiet second day well who cares!! 😂
nice work in a tight area.not your usual hauling truck either, yet was a definte effective way to get the job done in that tight spot.
Yeah I needed something with low sides seeing we didn't have a big machine to load out just seemed easier More trips but easier
Great job. We haven't had much rain this year in Oregon. We are currently in drought conditions & worrying about fire season early.
Yes it seems we're dried up pretty good here too even though we get some rain it's low

Its surprising the concrete breaks that easy with another piece of concrete. Good job!
Yes indeed wrecking Ball

I really like this channel! Keep up the good work. How does your gooseneck dump trailer dump those heavy loads?
It was dumping just fine It could tell it was loaded but it did it

Hope your doing ok Micky Mike👀
Yes sir Mark doing well!!
Any thoughts on a rock / skeleton bucket on the skid steer? Does less dirt mixed in with the concrete rubble help the back pocket?
Yeah I have one
@@DIRT-BOSS Oops … I did not state my question clearly. Wherever you haul the concrete to … does it cost less to dump clean concrete?
Concrete must have ben cheap back then. Good video.
Exactly 1970
Back on site !
Yeah buddy
Interesting to see an Alaskan slab-poured patio; that's not something you see here in the wild-west too often.
Oh yeah stay tuned it gets crazy
Hey man do you think you could put a estimate on how much the job was so people have a better idea if they’re ever bidding stuff out??
No I don't get into that kind of detail on my channel sorry
Dat is some THICK CONCERT it is Brutal on pin for sure it is a nightmare when a hammer can't do the job
Yeah it was
Amazing 😍😍😍
💪🏼
I have had th use a cut off saw on some of the concert Dat wouldn't juts brake up
Concrete saw to thicker concrete only cuts 5-in too much dust too much noise Got to get it done quick and efficient
Dat true too sometimes it just bit the bullet & get done

I agree but every patio has a sliding glass door in front of it and I'm worried it's going to shatter the glass so I move them out of the way first.
