I love watching you do this soft cover bc I just finished a soft cover with two layers of thin fabric, which I loved. I chose not to use any chipboard with this one just to see what would happen. Its wonky and imperfect but also great. Really loving your channel!
Love this project! Thanks for the playlist for us to refer back to. I’m struggling with a journal cover I’m not happy with…it’s too small after I added the ephemera. That cover will go in a future project folder. I plan to make a soft cover with some linen I bought years ago for a hat…I’m remembering lots of leftovers…hope my old brain remembers correctly! Also, I love the hinged pages, so clever! 💕
Thanks for the feedback back Mary. Yes I agree The ephemera holder can be a little tight, it’s really only going to hold one or two layers of flat paper ephemera to support a current project. However to make it hold more you can cut through the original joins completely to separate them and re-tape them with a 1/4 or 1/2 inch space to allow for growth. I’ll look at this again for you. Many thanks 🙏🏻 🦋

Thank you for taking time write to me, I was really pleased with how it all turned out.
Very interesting.
Great new journal, I loved those little stamped pieces. I’ve never tried the hinged paper idea.
Thanks Wanda. The hinged idea is fun, it looks nice in the journal 🦋
