I have been doing work on my dads 700 long range in 7mm rem mag that he bought to go so long range elk hunting with me. I did thread his barrel and fit a Harrell 4 port brake on it and also put a timney 510 trigger on it. We are using Hornady brass, 168gr Berger VLD hunting bullets and 72.5gr of Retumbo giving us a muzzle velocity of 3005fps. The rifle shoots .462" 5 shot groups at 100yards. We have so far ran the rifle out to 1270yards without any problems, we shot a 3inch group with the rifle at 670yards. For the money it is a pretty good rifle. I would highly suggest getting the muzzle threaded and having a brake installed.
Awesome!! I got a 700LR about a year and a half ago in 30.06 for $700 out the door. With H4350 and 208 amax I'm getting just over 2700fps and have had three or four 5 shot groups of 9.5-11" at 1275yds. Couldn't be happier. It was my first step into long range and reloading too. I was nervous at first because I have hear of Remmy lemons, but the first 5 shots out of the brand new barrel were all touching at 100 yds with HSM 190 sierras. Still learning, but a great starter rifle if you want a long action. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there. That's for your service. All of it.
I run with a local 3-gun group in my hometown once a month. We try to setup our stages as more realistic skills training rather than just speed challenge matches, though we do still compete against each other. We also do training on skills such as extended range shooting, night shooting, house clearing, etc all taught by a local instructor at our matches. It's a really good mix and I have learned a lot and improved in the last few months. The biggest thing for me is competing in this way has showed me some weaknesses in my own kit setup and weapons systems.
Got a 700 LR in 25-06, I did a few mods myself. The trigger had to go, dropped in a jewel along with a wyatts bottom metal magazine. Used a bit of bedding compound on the recoil lug recess. Shooting 115 gr berger VLD, use it mostly for busting those pesky groundhogs for the local farmers, and it does a fine job.
Wonderful rifle getting quater size group out of it at 100yards with a 3-9×40. Can't wait to see the load development, my coworkers and I love the channel! Moons out goons out hooyah!
I purchased a R700 300 Win Mag. exactly as the rifle you have in the video. I set it up with Badger rings and 20 moa mount with a Leopold Mark 4 ERT. After my break-in procedure, I reloaded the 208 grain Hornady ELD Match, with 68.0 grains IMR7828, CCI 250 Primers and getting consistent 1/3-1/2 moa results. I am sure it will do even better, I just haven't fine tuned my load yet.
You'll be happy with that 700 Long Range. I've got a 700 Long Range in 7mm Rem Mag in an XLR Element chassis with their tactical stock. I've got it down to 3/8" at 100 yards and I'm not really very skilled. The rifle has shot amazingly well. I cant wait to see what your 300wm will do.
I have just picked up the 700LR in 300WM, Remington had a $150 rebate so the price point was great. Looking forward to seeing your review and recommended modifications!
John, in my opinion, competition cannot be a replacement for instructor based defensive training. Competition will help you develop muscle memory for drawing and shooting but that is a small part of what happens when in a defensive scenario. It is what happens "left of bang" that is so critical to defending yourself, surviving or defusing the situation, and overcoming the legal challenges following a shooting situation. Most good classes will address the thought process before you shoot while competition will tend to drive you circumvent or short cut those critical thought processes.
Not sure if it qualifies as "700 Long Range" but I've got an old Rem 700 in .270 that I've shot as far as 960m. It started off as just a vanilla off-the-shelf rifle bought used with a Tasco scope. (I knew nothing about scopes or precision shooting back then) After a LOT of trial and error, I finally got the action bedded and the barrel free-floated (just the original wood stock), I tweaked the trigger's set-screws for a light, short trigger, got a Vortex PST for it, and went from shooting 8 inch groups at 100m to sub-moa. I couldn't get heavy slugs to shoot well but found the 135 Sierra MKs with RL22. I also worked up a load using Berger Classic Hunting slugs that's (barely) sub-moa. The old tasco scope was the worst problem I had - the Vortex is awesome. I know (now) the .270 is not a great LR precision cartridge but it's good enough to hit a 12 inch target at 960m (took me 7 tries) so I'm not complaining. Someday I'll replace it's skinny barrel with a proof research barrel (and put a brake on it - no recoil pad on it) just to keep it light enough to hike/hunt with.
I have a Grayboe Renegade being put on my rifle right now. I was looking at the Fuzion but got behind a buddies A5 and also didn't want to wait for the Fuzion. Excited for it to arrive.
I also forgot, I got mine with the M5 inlet since I had a Badger M5 laying around. it's also replacing a Bell and Carlson M40, which was decent but it was lacking in a couple areas.
I have really enjoyed my 300 WM 700 long range. I installed a JP brake on it and have only run hunting ammo through it, rem core lokt and win power point. Seems accurate enough with those easily pounding an 8 inch steel plate at 300 yards. Haven't had time to push it any further. But like I said it has been a good rifle, even popped (quite literally) a woodchuck with it the other day.
Thanks for the review John I am looking forward to the load development videos and seeing how this rifle turns out. I have had my eye on it for a while but haven't pulled the trigger on purchasing it yet.
Have you tried Holosun series of micro red-dot? It's amazing! 50,000K battery + solar panel + Motion sensing auto-ON and 15min auto-OFF. build quality is great.
I purchased a Remington 700 LR in 300wm about 6 months ago. After getting it all dressed up in an MDT TAC21 chassis and a Timmny trigger I took it out for the first time shooting it. With the first 20 shots I was able to get it sighted, and had an eight round 3/4 inch group. Fluke? Most likely, but I still love that gun! I do recommend a break though, because as you said it's not as forgiving as it's short action counter parts. my question for you though is: why the H1000 instead of somthing like the H4831sc, RL15, or Viht N560?
I bought one of these a couple years ago. It is a hammer. I shoot the 190 sierra matchkings through it and the accuracy is way more than I could hope for. I replaced the trigger before the first shot was fired with the timney 510. And for an optic I have the Burris XTR II in 4-20x50. Heavy setup but not as much recoil as I was expecting. Hope to see how yours does!
One more thing I learned with this gun. Add powdered Aluminum to Marine Tex and it beds to the aluminum chassis in the B and C stock like a rock. Noticeably harder than the aluminum itself.
Bought a L.R. in April in 300 Rum, and I want to get one in 7mm R.M. I only have 50 rounds through it but the 175 grain Noslers are looking like a good choice. I did swap out the stock for a laminate that I had in the closet collecting dust. I bet you will enjoy it.
Mini-Review on Rem 700 LR in 300 WM (1 year out) I have a 700 LR in .300 Win Mag. I've done load dev for Horn 208 gr AMAX, Horn 225 Gr BTHP, and am currently working with Berger 230 gr OTM. For me the gun has favored RL22 over H1000. Looking back at data book, here are my velocities for Berger OTM and Horn 225 gr BTHP. 230 gr OTM: 68 gr RL 22, around 2850 fps. Started to notice pressure signs with any charge > 68 gr RL 22 225 gr Horn BTHP, 69 gr RL 22: around 2770 fps All velocities taken in home state of MN, around 70 F, roughly 30inHg A few other notes: - the factory XMark Pro trigger is very heavy, couldn't get < 4 lbs. Called Remington and the cust service agent said to go aftermarket if I want < 4lbs. Went with a Timney. - Barrel channel was not evenly cut in my B/C stock, so I did a bit of sanding. -
I love "Mail Call Monday" I have never been able to shoot a PRS style match...in fact the closest one to me that I know of is in West Virginia. ...I am in Vermont. I have been practicing myself and am blessed to have a piece of property that I can set up various stages so that I can shoot from 100-2000 yards. I have just started my own Business called Green Mountain Rifle Challenge where I want to hold local and possibly larger PRS style matches...my question is how large of a piece of property are you used to shooting matches on? This property I lease is 700 acres with many terrain features and open country. Just wondered what you are used to.
I know that for me, the stress of competition brought to my attention (and not in a gentile way) all the issues with my technique. It is not the same as a teacher, but it lets you know what you need help with.
For me shooting IDPA allows me to practice non standard shooting positions while utilizing cover. Not just slicing the pie around corners but also shooting through openings of different sizes and heights. Also, I had never practiced shooting on the move while carrying a baby (doll) before IDPA.
timing was off after about 350 rds with the factory barrel. some locktite and a torque wrench was required for the bottom screws as well after barrel break in and initial zero. rumors from what others have told me were that there might be quality control issues with some of these, but other than that, mine has worked just fine out to 1500y. I plan on changing the barrel when it comes to that time to a heavy M40.
I got a similar rifle, a rem 700 police 300wm. First, the rifle is very light (i assume you BC stock is as light as mine ) and has no muzzle break or threads on the barrel. The recoil is very punishing. So i quickly installed a MB... then, i replaced the factory trigger, the same Xmark pro as you, by a timney calvin elite. My actual load is a berger 230 grains OTM, a bit more than 800m/s. i use reload swiss RS70 powder, lapua brass and Fed match magnum primers. accuracy is sub moa at 1000m. this rifle is more capable than me...
Regarding the 300 wm. Really looking forward to the 300 wm load workup! I know you've done load workup on already existing rifles that you have. But to see it done from the start would be interesting.
Very interested in that 300 LR in 300wm; I want to buy that exact rifle and drop it into the Magpul hunter LA stock (when it comes out) as a deer rifle this fall. That gives me an affordable but quality way to add a detachable magazine to it, as well as good modularity. Can you try to point out how well it compares to the Remington Milspec 5R, Sendero, Savage varminter, et al in your review as those are its competitors for my use.
Hi John, MCM rules! Thanks for taking the time to help us all out. I am building an extended range AR for learning wind calls and eventually hog hunting. Currently I am deciding on an optic, but I'm on a budget and I'm concerned that fixed 10x is going to be a pain for .223. Would you suggest paying more for variable power with that weak of a caliber or am I over analyzing?
Have you done any videos regarding suppressors, preferred mounting methods (for long range shooting), and in general talking about the pros/cons of shooting long range suppressed vs unsuppressed?
8541 Tactical, I have a Remington Model 700 SPS Varmint with the 26 inch Varmint heavy barrel in .308 and I have a Bell and Carlson M40 stock. My question is, for long range shooting out to 1000 yards max, is there any reason or benefits with going with a Marine Corps M40A1 contour barrel over the factory Remington Varmint barrel?
i have the rem 700 long range 7mm mag and could cut holes at 150 yards which made shooting 600 yards a dream but the pattern opened up quick and now with trying numerous diff rounds i cant get any better than 2 1/2 group at 100. i have a leupold 6.5x20x56 VX3L so its not the scope and rem said its still within spec
I'm leaving to boot camp at mcrd San Diego in a few weeks I have an infantry contract and was think about trying out for scout sniper school, just wondering what it was like when you went through.
Hi john, love the show. very appreciative of the time you take to teach us. Im a first generation gun lover and was wondering how to you estimate barrel life? and how do you tell when your barrel is done?
hi john I have a Remington 700 long range in 300win mag a great rifle to shoot I'm running a vortex hs-t viper 8-24*50 mrad with vortex low tactical rings {30mm} .after doing ladder test with 210gr vld target with bc g7 .318 at 300yard I got best result of 69.1gr of ar2217 adi powder equivalent to h1000. the first vortex scope was faulty so used a beaten up old Leopold mk4 and got a group of .39inc group at 100yrd now got replacement vortex scope now retuning scope but love the weapon nice to shoot of the ground and of structure little ruff of bench thou and also have a 25-308 custom with mtd hs3 and 1-10 tactical barrel 26inc and it is a great system for long range varmint shooting with sierra and had .32inc group at 100yrd now trying berger and see how they go
have that rifle circ 2001 300wm sendero excellent rifle and great groups with handloads all the way out to 600 yards with bushnell 3.5x21. have run black hills and hornady match through and no probs at all. waiting for reload equipment and will start the fun with 208 or 230 whenbi get a chance and wil let you know
I have the same rifle but it's in .30-06 and it's and amazing rifle. It's a little heavy and I wish I could find a company that makes a detachable box mag for it
Serious question, may just be stupid, but don't the Mcmillan and Manners stocks come with an aluminum bedding block? Does the accuracy suffer without the block? Thanks
How do you feel about bedding a stock with a bedding block in it like the B&C? I have a Howa 1500 in a B&C A2 and have had good results without bedding, but I can't help but wonder if I bedded it I might get more consistency in my groups.
I’m extremely new to rifles.. but I have a question.... if I take my Remington 270, could I change my barrel only and make it a 300 or a 30-06? What else would need to be changed if I was to make the switch...and the same with marking a .308 to a .243 or a 6.5 prc..... (this is just informational) pretty much are the actions the same for all long actions and all short actions.... next, what would be the outcome if I put a .308 barrel on my 270’s long action to shoot a .308? (Again, just informative)
first thing you'll want to do, is ditch the X-mark pro trigger. They're god awful spongy and creepy for accurate shooting. Other than that, the LRH seems to be a pretty solid rifle. Ive worked on a couple and the owners tell me they shoot pretty well
really love the channel. new to long range shooting. i have been wondering after watching several of your scope reviews what your personal favorite scope is? also, im in the corps (0352) in a victor unit and have a few close friends in the scout sniper plt. wondering what unit you were with? semper fi.
Have just bought a Cadex defence 300 CDX tac in 300 wm, looking forward to your load work up on 208's. currently ding the same thing for my rifle. what are your thoughts on Wilson tactical 1911, or just 1911 in general. Looking for a pistol to just own and enjoy shooting. Wilson Tactical is kind of a high end pistol here running around the 5000 mark. is it worth the money . Cheers for all your hard work and time you spend for this channel. Has become my staple to watch, and rewatch .
If you are going to have a 1911 just to have and enjoy, I wouldn't spend the money on a Wilson. They guns are awesome (so I've heard) but I feel like that role could be satisfactorily filled by a more affordable 1911. $5,000 is a lot of money for a gun I would not intend to use to its fullest extent.
My 300 win mag LR had some sort of burr in the chamber that I couldn't remove. When the cartridge was fired it caused a stiff extraction. Had to use the ol boot heel to open it. It also gouged out a vertical ridge on the brass. Deal breaker for me cause I like to reload. Took it back and traded it cause I didn't want to wait for warranty. Remington QC is trash
Just purchased the long range in 300WM, the B&C stock does come with an aluminum bedding block. Would you know of a drop in detachable magazine system for the B&C stock that uses AI mags
I have the Rem 700 LR in 7mm mag. and I love it. I have Vortex Viper PST 5-25 scope on it and shoot Barnes 171 gr. HPBT hand loaded rounds with 49.4 gr of H4350 running 2833 fps. I also have an EVO F class bipod, a Witt Machine muzzle brake, and replaced the drop plate with a magazine well. I use it to shoot 3 and 600 yard sniper, 1000 yard open class matches, and what we call fun matches where we shoot 2 rounds at 10 different targets ranging from 100 to 1100 yards. It is vary accurate with the right loads; However I think because of its weight it is definitely an F class or bench rest rifle. It took some work and extras to make it a good long range rifle but I love the 7mm round and it is now my designated LR rifle.
When building a rifle, never try to make it the jack of all trades. It will always leave much to be desired. Play to its strengths, and build it to one particular discipline fantastically. Rather than everything 'just fine'.
How did it work??? I have looked at those for a while, and I am a highschool age kid that gets maybe 20$ a week, so I want to know everything about a product that I am thinking about buying. So please, any pros/cons that you have noticed at all with it could help me make a descision
Hi.i own a new Remington 700 LR 300 win mag, first shot is dead center, second shot is one inche to the left,3rd shot is 2 inches to the left ,next shot is 3 inches to the left, further shots will group at that place, let the rifle cool down, shot placement wil comes back towards the center,is this normal that a rifle be this sensitive to temperature, Thank you. Bye. Lucien
I've just brought the same hornady projectiles for my 300wm and I noticed the bullet is fatter than case neck. does this mean I'll have neck size only on my new brass?
+David Howland lots of variables. Could be as little as 1000 rounds or more than 2000. Also depends on the accuracy potential and the accuracy required from the system.
8541 Tactical Just curious about it staying under 1 moa. I have a well built Savage in 300 win mag that i have about 650 rounds through. I just got into PRS matches and don't want to burn the barrel out too soon. Obviously being a savage i can swap the barrels out in about 15 min. I was just curious how soon I should switch the barrel (apparently soon). Thanks for the reply!
John, or anyone reading... do you know a good gunsmith? I have a Remington 700P chambered in 308 and I was looking around online for a gunsmith (hard to find any in LI) to true the action etc. Any information will be great.
West Virginia On The Fly I'm no John Mcquay, but a 7stw is a great round for those ranges. Or look on Long Range Hunters website and maybe ask in the forum about which set up, action, barrel. Etc. I have a Bushnell 6500 tactical ffp 6-24 scope which is actually a great scope for the price. It's the 30mm tube version. The glass is very decent for the price range. And I got the illuminated BTR reticle. But the G2 looks like a great reticle. I went with BTR because I got lucky and picked one up for 650$ including taxes on Amazon. It tracks great, but honestly them Nightforce SHVs look like a better option. As for straight out of the box rifles. A Remington Sendero 2, not sure if they come in that caliber, but even a 7 rem mag using 178 grain bullets and hand loaded could do it. With the right bullet construction. Even a savage action with a lil work and a fairly cheap drop in custom barrel would do it. Or if you don't mind the weight, a 112 action with a premium barrel and some minor tuning will get you great results. I just bought a 112 in 243 for 800$ Canadian and am buying a custom drop in bull barrel in 6.5 for 550$ and from others who have done the same. The accuracy is crazy good. My gunsmith lapped the lugs, trued it up, and a new recoil lug. Total is just over 1500$ can. Down there it would be cheaper. Hell, I've also taken 300+ lbs Mulies with a slightly modified Tikka 270wsm at 800 yards and he went down within 30 yards. Lots of options I guess. But I'm really keen on the 7STW for long range hunting up on the prairies in Alberta. Heard nothing but great stuff about it.
If you want to improve your pistol shooting, USPSA is the way to go. It's drag racing with pistols, speed and accuracy are a must. USPSA is so much more difficult than IDPA,and without the wannabe tactical rules (which will be shoved down your throat by that annoying guy in your squad). USPSA all the way.
I shoot both. I'm a "Master" in IDPA and "B" Class in USPSA which indicates the relative skill level of average shooters in both sports. The shot difficulty isn't any different in both sports, but the speed you have to execute them and transitions is.

230 gr OTM: 68 gr RL 22, around 2850 fps. Started to notice pressure signs with any charge > 68 gr RL 22
225 gr Horn BTHP, 69 gr RL 22: around 2770 fps
All velocities taken in home state of MN, around 70 F, roughly 30inHg
A few other notes:
- the factory XMark Pro trigger is very heavy, couldn't get < 4 lbs. Called Remington and the cust service agent said to go aftermarket if I want < 4lbs. Went with a Timney.
- Barrel channel was not evenly cut in my B/C stock, so I did a bit of sanding.

To the guy who was building a light rifle, check out Lone Peak Arms and their Titanium actions. supposedly .5lb lighter then similar steel actions.
When is the review of the Grayboe stock coming out?
Like that t-shirt John!
I have a gray boe on my custom gun love it I can't wait to see how the 700 long range shoots want one in 7prc but hate no threaded barell or det mag
Great MCM. Looking forward to all those vids, but specially the load work up and lr review. Can't wait..
I have many graybow stocks. Have glass bedded all of them. Easy stock to glass bed. Absolutely the best bang for the buck.
still hoping you'll look into the primary arms 1×8 platinum scope
how about 6.5x55 sw long range for more barrel live ?
Hi John, MCM rules! Thanks for taking the time to help us all out. I am building an extended range AR for learning wind calls and eventually hog hunting. Currently I am deciding on an optic, but I'm on a budget and I'm concerned that fixed 10x is going to be a pain for .223. Would you suggest paying more for variable power with that weak of a caliber or am I over analyzing?
Really want an update man !! I have that exact rifle and I’m seriously looking at Grayboe
Looking forward to the LR review as well as the magpul stock review for the short action.
im running that exact rifle. not the best workmanship, but didnt expect perfection.
Looking forward to the load work up. I plan to use your process to work a load up for my .300 Weatherby. I will be using my leadsled though. LMAO
I'm interested in seeing the accuracy from your gun. I've had my eyes on one of these rifles
So did you test Grayboe?
Great video as always, Im interested to see if that Grayboe stock is an upgrade over the B&C
Lapua is making 6.5 Creedmoor brass starting next year per Accurateshooter.com. Just throwing it out there. Should be introduced in shot show 2017.
hi john I have a Remington 700 long range in 300win mag a great rifle to shoot I'm running a vortex hs-t viper 8-24*50 mrad with vortex low tactical rings {30mm} .after doing ladder test with 210gr vld target with bc g7 .318 at 300yard I got best result of 69.1gr of ar2217 adi powder equivalent to h1000. the first vortex scope was faulty so used a beaten up old Leopold mk4 and got a group of .39inc group at 100yrd now got replacement vortex scope now retuning scope but love the weapon nice to shoot of the ground and of structure little ruff of bench thou and also have a 25-308 custom with mtd hs3 and 1-10 tactical barrel 26inc and it is a great system for long range varmint shooting with sierra and had .32inc group at 100yrd now trying berger and see how they go
have that rifle circ 2001 300wm sendero excellent rifle and great groups with handloads all the way out to 600 yards with bushnell 3.5x21. have run black hills and hornady match through and no probs at all. waiting for reload equipment and will start the fun with 208 or 230 whenbi get a chance and wil let you know
I have the same rifle but it's in .30-06 and it's and amazing rifle. It's a little heavy and I wish I could find a company that makes a detachable box mag for it
Serious question, may just be stupid, but don't the Mcmillan and Manners stocks come with an aluminum bedding block? Does the accuracy suffer without the block? Thanks
Is the Grayboe stock pillar bedded at all? Is it a true bolt on stock like a HS Precision or Bell and Carlson?
How do you feel about bedding a stock with a bedding block in it like the B&C? I have a Howa 1500 in a B&C A2 and have had good results without bedding, but I can't help but wonder if I bedded it I might get more consistency in my groups.
Can't find the review on the long range. Did you end up making one?
Aaron Lunzmann I asked the same question yesterday. Not response yet. I'm also REALLY interested in the greyboe stock...
I have the same gun and am thinking about replacing the drop plate with a mag well. Where did you get yours?
I can't find the purchase but it was either Midway or Brownell's and I got the 10 round mags.
put that new Primary Arms 6-30x56 scope on there and do a review on it!
I like this idea.
waiting on the magpul 700 review....
Get a muzzle brake to tame that beast. I have the exact same gun, 300 win mag kicks pretty hard. I'd recommend the APA Fat Bastard Brake 👍🏻
How about an update on the 10-22 build.
When building a rifle, never try to make it the jack of all trades. It will always leave much to be desired. Play to its strengths, and build it to one particular discipline fantastically. Rather than everything 'just fine'.
I have a Grayboe Renegade LA in the mail for a 28 Nosler build. For $319 I am really hoping it will work out.
How did it work??? I have looked at those for a while, and I am a highschool age kid that gets maybe 20$ a week, so I want to know everything about a product that I am thinking about buying. So please, any pros/cons that you have noticed at all with it could help me make a descision
Any idea when the grayboe review is coming?
27:32 what do you mean by "huge live" less than 2000 rounds?
I am expecting 1000-1500 before it's toast.
What type of kestrel meter to do you recommend?
been lookin at one of these rifles for a while, really lookin forward to the reviews!
Hey John, How many rounds can I expect to get out of a Rem 700 sendero in 7mm before it starts to lose accuracy ? 66 to 68gr of RE22. Great show!
I have o ne with 1500 rounds no problem
what are you shooting at?
Hi.i own a new Remington 700 LR 300 win mag, first shot is dead center, second shot is one inche to the left,3rd shot is 2 inches to the left ,next shot is 3 inches to the left, further shots will group at that place, let the rifle cool down, shot placement wil comes back towards the center,is this normal that a rifle be this sensitive to temperature,
Thank you.
Bye.
Lucien
I've just brought the same hornady projectiles for my 300wm and I noticed the bullet is fatter than case neck. does this mean I'll have neck size only on my new brass?
No matter if you neck size or FL size, the case neck has to be smaller that the bullet so that there is heck tension when you seat the bullet.
Regarding the 300 win Mag, do you plan on having a higher than 100 yd zero? Or would you keep it the same?
100y
Do you consider the Vortex red dots duty/self defense worthy?
The Strikefire II and SPARC II have proven to be reliable. I would not have a problem running them on a patrol rifle.
What do you think the average barrel life is for a 300 win mag before groups open up?
+David Howland lots of variables. Could be as little as 1000 rounds or more than 2000. Also depends on the accuracy potential and the accuracy required from the system.
8541 Tactical Just curious about it staying under 1 moa. I have a well built Savage in 300 win mag that i have about 650 rounds through. I just got into PRS matches and don't want to burn the barrel out too soon. Obviously being a savage i can swap the barrels out in about 15 min. I was just curious how soon I should switch the barrel (apparently soon). Thanks for the reply!
any updates on the long range?
Doesn't it come with a detachable magazine?
No. It is a three round internal magazine.
Video starts at 18:35
John, or anyone reading... do you know a good gunsmith? I have a Remington 700P chambered in 308 and I was looking around online for a gunsmith (hard to find any in LI) to true the action etc. Any information will be great.
Mike, I don't know of anyone local to you, but I have used Southern Indiana Precision with great results as well as C&H Precision (Florida).
Great, I will look into both thank you for fast reply.
The different color dots are good for people who are colorblind. Amber would be best.
Any review in 700LR coming?
Yes.
bell and carlson stock weighs 2.5lbs vs Grayboe Renegade 3.9lbs
My last remington sendero shot like total shit. Talley rings nightforce scope
where is the sig tactical ops 1911 vid
Soon
I got $2500, I need a rifle.and.scope able to reach out to Elk at 900 to 1000 yards. What would you pick for the two and the caliber needs to be 7mm
SWFA scope!!!!
COVER!!!
I shoot both. I'm a "Master" in IDPA and "B" Class in USPSA which indicates the relative skill level of average shooters in both sports. The shot difficulty isn't any different in both sports, but the speed you have to execute them and transitions is.
+Steve C Exactly. in USPSA there still is A class (which is extremely hard to get to), then Master, then Grand Master.
first
John, I'd be happy to thread the barrel for a muzzle device on that 300WM... Send me a message if you're interested.
I would be interested as well thanks, Matt. Thebizkit79@yahoo.com
sent a message to your email, thanks!!
