- So here's a strange remix. More than a year ago I made a lake trio remix (linked below). Because I was unhappy with it I never released it. So, here's a massive overhaul of that remix.

Ive always loved the lake guardian theme, but have been searching for that one remix that truly brings out its best and just makes it top all other pokemon tracks, and i think i found it

The slap bass in the back really is cool for me and I like the gradually calm atmospheric parts that are here and there.

Hmm, this is my fifth or sixth time listening to this over several days. This time my playlist shuffled to it, so I think its safe to say that this is now my favorite remix of yours. Will it remain? We'll just have to wait and see.

I want to avoid being redundant with what's already been said, but man, that slap bass is so good!
Aside from that, the lead synths are intense, and they fit the feel of this song (what you've turned it into, that is) perfectly! The beat is so solid, and it grooves amazingly well with the rhythm of both the melody and the bass.
Even though instruments come in and out throughout the song (which is really cool in itself), the song always maintains a steady, driving beat... it's especially effective in the sections where the percussion drops out for a period of time!
Seriously, I love this remix, and it shows noticeable growth from your earlier songs, which were great to begin with. You have a great style, and I look forward to hearing more of your music! :)

@@CatchDalgo Absolutely, and thank you for the reply! I'm hearing new musical details literally every time I listen to this song again... like the quick flourishes between phrases, counter-melodies, and the loads of cool effects you've applied throughout.

Alright so, I quit like the Lake Trio's Battle theme so I was already inclined to like this remix. There are quit a few changes throughout the track to spice it up every so often which are great. The underlying Bass really helps maintain that Lake Guardians vibe. Its pretty late as of writing this comment...so I uh don't have much else to say. I liked the editing in of those thumbnails, but you already knew that.
The slap bass is everything. As odd as this is going to sound, I literally have found that the original theme uses the same/similar slap bass for like 80-90% of the song. its ridiculous and I love it. I remember making the original and wondering why I have the same slap bass for like 3 minutes only to find out that's actually completely normal for this track lol.
I think it would've been really interesting if you changed slap basses melody occasionally.

Wow I have looked at this place alot but I never noticed this one! Sounds as if drums were playing, I love the beat drop the most- Haha, as I was typing the beat drop came XD
