Grew up in Bethesda in the 60's and 70's, so nice to see a video of my home town! Of course it has changed so very much from the sleepy little town with the railroad tracks I used to walk along. Nice to visit it like this though despite the changes, it is still home!

Ah yes, my home town. The only thing less fun than being stuck in traffic in Bethesda? Watching a video of being stuck in traffic in Bethesda. Sold my place there in 2010 and wish I had much sooner.
DFDalton1962 why housing prices have been booming for a while? 2006 is a bad time for that (bethesda specifically, you can look it up. we bought a 325k house in 97 and it’s worth 1.6 mil now, the housing crash only impacted poor towns)

@@Igor-gm4tp The traffic is just as bad because its part of the Washington DC metropolitan area but its cheaper, less homelessness and far less crazy people. No wildfires however, the beach is much farther away.

I love this place
Bethesda is a nice place to spend money on pricey things and show them off.
And now almost all those roads are blocked or closed due to the construction. This place will look unrecognizable in the next 5 years. I hate the traffic because I drive through that shit everyday.

It's actually quite a long explanation beyond my technical knowledge, but the short story is that they some LEDs are flickering so fast that we can't see it with our naked eyes, but the flickering may be inconsistent with the framerate of video, hence why they will appear to be off in some of the frames captured by the camera.
