If there is anyone wondering how to "get the boost boys" basically you don't press the accelerator at all during the 321 or the starting cutscenes the only time you press the accelerator aka rt or r2 I don't know what the controls are for playstation but anyway you only press it when it pops up as go then you will get the boost hope this helps :-)
