It just feels like Gen G has a better grasp of the meta, of T1's weaknesses and - funnily enough - better champ pool. This T1 lost does not hurt as much as last year because this time they looked like they could put up a fight and they did. Sad that they let Ksante open and play Zac into it. I thought Faker would have done better with another Mid champ like Hwei, Ahri, Cass, or Victor who were all open. T1 performance in the first game was better than the 5th game to be honest. However, unlike last years games this one was not one-sided and I like that they show they can take 2 games win from Gen.G and didn't not go 0-3 this final. I see the improvements, though a tough lost they show they can catch Gen.G off-guard when Gen.G put down their guard for a sec. This one was a fun Final. Gen.G showed their drive, and consistently improving skills but at the end of the day the goal remains to surpass T1 10 LCK win and 4 World Champ, and Gen.G is showing to be the one who will achieve that if T1 don't figure something out soon. This is the best rivalry in League of Legend by far.

Its all about playstyles, T1 couldnt beat GenG and GenG couldnt beat a certain team from China, but T1 could beat that team from China.. its like a cycle lol

Idk, i feel like If t1 had picked Zac instead of Gwen they would have had a way better comp, i didnt like Gwen + xin against a kha zix, Zac would counter kha zix pretty hard and would also be better for the Comp since they had no initiation or a tank to face check, i think they Just wasnt expecting a kha zix there.
