Before watching this video, I accidently bent many of my screens just to get them out for cleaning. Now, I will apply his methodology to remove the screens. Hopefully, the technique will work. Then, I will attempt to repair the bent screens. Thanks for your tutorial! If I'm not successful with removing the screens, I will come back and explain why I was unsuccessful.

I could not for the life of me figure out how to remove the screens, so I searched for how to do it, and I came across your video. Of course, after watching your video, it’s Captain obvious on how to do it, but initially I was trying to remove without, doing the part of leaning out the window, which would have ultimately torn my screen. I bought single hung windows. had no idea the screen could only be moved / removed like this. very much regret this. I am a windows open person - who likes like and fresh area.... that I can't quickly move a screen out of the way in a window without doing gymnastics is just wrong.

These types of windows suck but you don't. I was losing my mind until I saw this.
