We ate there on our last trip. It’s good and fast when you’re hungry after a long day on the beach. We are in Myrtle right now and got married in Little River yesterday. Just the two of us and the Pastor. It was wonderful and so happy to wake up a Mrs. this morning. 😊
Fun Fact Last year My Grandmother and I went there and I Highly recommend everyone to try Their Pumpkin donuts I crave them all the time and also their Devil crab Unshelled is to die for and most of their stuff is banging i gave them a 4.5/5 rating overall
@@CarmenandBrian it’s a big nice place. There’s a server for the crab legs only. If you want crab legs, there’s a server will give you one or two clusters of crab legs.
awesome video and very informative my 80 yo mom and I will be there Aug 10 to the 17. Do they have steaks available every day? My mom isn't too keen on seafood. Also are there a lot of steps? My mom doesn't do steps very well. Is there a way to find coupons? We got $5 off for the .Original Bennetts seafood buffet. Thanks so much again for sharing
They have had the beef every time I have been there. I don't remember any steps, but they do have a lot of ramps. However they have sections you can sit in where you do not have to go up and down the ramps, so I would request that when you check in. As we mentioned in the video the best time to go is lunch on Sunday if you can do it. The price then is lower than pretty much any coupon you can find. You can check for coupons in those monster coupon books that you can find stores, but I don't recall seeing one for Captain George's. You can also check Captain George's website for coupons and deals. Have a great trip!
We’ve been to North Myrtle Beach countless times, and going again late June, but never been to one of these “all you can eat” buffet places. I’m not such a big eater and I know these places are generally quite pricey. Is it worth it for someone who would get only one or two servings?
I would say probably no unless you eat a lot of crab legs. I can only eat a couple of plates but I focus on the crab legs. It's probably still not worth it for me. Brian can definitely get his moneys worth but he's a tall skinny runner.
Have you ever done a video on a chartered fishing trip or dolphin cruise? I saw ads for them last time I was there and catching a big shark or something seems fun. Also I think if you had access to a drone, some footage of fish in the water, maybe by a pier, could be cool to see. I love ocean drone footage, but don’t know how people don’t lose their drones to the water 😊
We've been on a dolphin cruise but most do not allow filming. They take photos themselves and then sell them to you for an exorbitant fee. We do have a drone and Brian used to have his license for it, but you cannot film with a drone for commercial purposes without the license and his has expired. TH-cam is considered commercial. The license is expensive to maintain and you have to take a hard exam to renew it.
We were there back in November and was very disappointed. The food didn’t look anything like what you are showing especially for the price. Gonna have to pass this year when we come down.
That place looks amazing! And honestly, the price is super reasonable, considering all that you can get there. I live in Rhode Island and we have a place called The Nordic here. It's an all you can eat buffet, and in fairness, they off lobster at The Nordic, but it's $135 per person for adults. I would definitely give Captain George's a try when I come down to Myrtle Beach.
When I compare that buffet against a regular restaurant menu, I just don’t see the value of what they’re charging, I mean really how much can one person eat, you get up twice, that’s basically it for most people if that, just not worth the price.
its definitely worth the price especially if you love seafood/ buffet. A good low country boil alone can costs $35. You just have to bring a big appetite.
We just left mytle beach after a week. Food was extremely expensive every where there. Food was good at most places but we will never go back there. The town is an old person place. Thanks for videos. Just not a beach we will ever visit again
Did you go outside of myrtle? Inland, north and south have better and cheaper food. We live here and don't visit myrtle much. Outside myrtle, the people are much friendlier and with all year parking, we spend our money elsewhere. You should try off season. try cherry Grove area or surfside for your rental and only eat outside proper myrtle. I think you'll have a better experience. Atlantic Beach is free parkin and less crowded. We've gone in January absolutely been the only 2 for a far as the eyes could see. Not as much to do, but visit late December to early may
The food is definitely expensive in the prime tourist areas. If you branch out beyond Myrtle proper you can get some reasonably priced food. Sorry you didn't enjoy your trip!
I’ve can say that I can give it 100%. The chili excellent , The turkey was Also good and moist, The pulled pork was excellent as well i brisket and I couldn’t stop eating it and mashed potatoes with corn and beef gravy I was set. I kept on going back for more brisket, corn and mashed potatoes like crazy. And actually top off my visit at that restaurant Carmen and Brian, the dessert bar was out of this world

Honestly the steak was not the best part. I really enjoyed almost everything else there!
Looks amazing, great variety on the buffet
It's really good! It's our favorite buffet!
We messed up. Saw a video of a buffet with a ship and assumed it was Capt George. It was The Pirate's Table buffet. Not the same. At all. Never again.
Peas & Carrots 😊 .....it's Rick one of my favorite places ♥ SKRIMPS
Hey Rick! Yes it's our favorite buffet for sure!
We ate there very good food 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
We have one in Williamsburg Va and another on in Virginia Beach VA.
We've thought about eating at the one in Williamsburg because we like to go there occasionally. But we haven't tried it.

That's too bad! Our recent visit was amazing!

Wow $135 is high but ...lobster! :) We definitely recommend Captain George's.
I wish I could go but my brother has a seafood allergy and the smell of seafood can bring on a allergy attack. I wish we could go and check it out😊
That's too bad, but I have a friend like that so I know what you're talking about.
Maybe I'll go one day by myself. Lol
Is it real butter
They "supposedly" have real butter, margarine, and one other option I can't recall.
well all the food looks great i just cant eat 5 plates of food and feel good afterwards.
Us either! We just eat what we want and that's it.
Price ?
We go over pricing in detail in the video.
Have never ate here, usually hit crabby mikes
We like crabby Mike too. We like both for different reasons.
