This debate has been going on for years. I’ve been comparing UA and Retail for years since 2012 and all I can say is that the legit top notch factories got it down to the T. They might not get the official Nike contracts to produce the shoes but they do get the same materials, schematics (for those out there wondering what schematics are, they’re the drawings/plans that break down the shoes design), molds, etc. Only thing that they don’t spend time and money on is the box. They have no control over that and the factories making the boxes I guess don’t really give a shit. As far as the shoe…you peeps out there take it however you want. The quality and effort that’s put on the UAs is top notch and it’s killing the resell and retail market. UAs are slowly becoming the purchase of choice for the masses who want the shoe to wear and look fresh without paying the retail inflated prices or the ridiculous resell prices. Now you see Retros sitting on shelves for retail and sitting on stockx for under retail cuz resellers can’t sell them and stores are not taking them back. Yeezys and retros nowadays purchased from the big retailers are “All sales are final” purchases. They are not taking back the shoes from resellers that cannot move the shoes for resell prices. The game has caught up on them and UAs are capitalizing the market. Just putting my two cents in! 👍🏽👊🏽
