Nikola Jokic (32 points, 21 rebounds, 10 assists) and Jamal Murray (34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) led the way for the Denver Nuggets as they defeated the Miami Heat 109-94 in Game 3 of the #NBAFinals presented by TH-cam TV. Jimmy Butler tallied 28 points for the Heat. The Nuggets lead this best-of-seven series, 2-1, with Game 4 taking place on Friday, June 9 (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC).

Love how the media were saying he wasn't a playoff performer before this playoffs. Dude is now 2 wins away from completing one of the craziest runs in NBA history.
That was a big lie. Jokic always played well in the playoffs. Even when he lost, he fell hooping. Multiple MVPs, great in the playoffs, all-time great offensively, already in the conversation for the best passer ever.
Whether people like it or not, Jokic will climb the all-time great ladder if he wins rings.
At this point it’s gonna be the best run ever if (I'm inclined to say when here, the Heat managed to steal one in Denver but that was a very bad game by Denver overall) they win. Everything he is doing is record setting.

that was such a dumb narrative the last time jokic had a healthy squad him and murray went to the conference finals and lost to the nba champions after completing a 3-1 comeback vs kawhi and PG. and that was before he stepped his game up to MVP level. what nba player has ever won a nba championship without a second star the media wanted him to do something no one has ever done before, before giving him his respect.
They just refuse to admit that the best player in the league right now is a white guy from Europe. If he does get the Nuggets to close out, there is no denying who the best player really is. 😂

Dirk was a shooter in a center body.
Jokic is more well-rounded offensively because not only is he a triple threat (even with his slo-mo drives to the basket), his passing is another threat the defense needs to take into account.
And I would argue that his playmaking is far more dangerous for his opponents because it boosts the other team members and gives them confidence (AG is a great example of that).
Jokic's basketball IQ will go down as one of the best ever in the sport's history. Just beyond phenomenal.
I live in Denver and did gig work as a prep cook at ball arena back in the spring, summer and fall of 2021. We had to walk by the nuggets locker room to get to the kitchen/club lexus...One day, this giant, behemoth of a man was walking down the hallway coming from the other direction and when he passed by he hit me with the most genuine, enthusiastic smile and "good morning"...I had a hunch that he was a player but didn't know who he was 😭it was fn Yokic lol...I will never forget it and I never forgot his face! I think that was the same year he got MVP lol and this is also the same guy who got drafted during a literal taco bell commercial. He deserves all the good things. Go nuggets!

Jokic is playing better than any legend ever has in the playoffs. Yet somehow Jimmy Butler and the Heat are getting more attention than this man. Don't get me wrong, I've always been a huge underdog fan, thus why even though I do believe Jordan is the goat, LeBron is my favorite player of all-time. But people need to realize just how good Jokic's numbers really are, I don't think people are really grasping it, he's putting on all-time performances night after night. Every single game deserves to be analyzed. Get that ring big fella!

The 20 rebounds are tough to get because it's a dirty blue-collar job and you can get banged up trying to grab a rebound. The 10 assists are not easy because most "superstars" are more interested in scoring all the points for themselves, instead of sharing (ex: Carmelo Anthony, Embiid). It takes a rare unselfish player to post a 30/20/10 stat line.

It is his 3rd career 30-20-10 playoff game of any kind. There have only been 2 other 30-20-10 games in NBA postseason history (1 each by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar & Wilt Chamberlain).
