Hello your admin user email address is the one used on the website to send all mails relating to the community plugin. If you can receive any activation email, then you need to check your website SMTP. The easiest way is to use an email address which is from your website. Example if your website is www.ghana.com, make sure that your admin email is something like admin@ghana.com or info@ghana.com just make sure that the email address have your domain name. This will solve all SMTP issues.

Hi it would be better to create a subdomain and use i for your community. the you can link the main website and your community website together using your menus on the front end. The social media community website is not just a page. it is a whole website on it own

I managed to follow your tutorial,however when I go to create a user menu there’s no buddyboss/buddypress option to make a user menu with timeline,logout etc so users cannot log out of their accounts. If you do not see the BuddyBoss options, Go to Menus then from the menus page, top right conner there is Screen Options and then Help, click on the arrow near the Screen Options you will see the BuddyBoss option in the Screen elements. Make sure to tick the check box beside the BuddyBoss the option will appear for you to create your menus. Also to create forums make sure to activate all the components from the buddyboss components page. Then under buddyboss locate pages and set the page for forums. Now under buddyboss menu, locate Forums and click on add new to add new forum

I have the same issue. Where the email for account activation gets sent to a new members email. It takes like 10 minutes. That's a bit slow.
