I wish you guys would have mentioned the weird weight composition of Belikin bottles. It always makes you feel like there is beer left in the bottle when it's already empty. This is because of the extra inch of glass on the bottom of the bottle. Another point is that the bottle is made from glass that produces wicked nasty shards of glass when the bottle is broken. It's considered a weapon of choice among criminals in Belize and the number one cause of slashed bare feet. Great show just the same!
Belikin beer! Only beer in Belize! Drink it if you want to get drunk off beer. There are no options. Heineken was double Belikin when I was there and it was after 2006.
Belize is full of monopolies.
Spent a week in Belize last year. Such an amazing time. Caye Caulker, San Ignacio, and San Pedro.
