I'm a brazilian boy and I don't lern with all the brazilian english techears, a lot of time a costume try to find on youtube a american teacher to try to learn, and with you it worked, thank you so much Mark
fantastic and clear lesson! for years in italian schools english has been teached mostly by grammar with bad results, only nowadays things are changing.
Yes yes and yes, the best teacher, as learner English I invite overyone to give a thumbs up, I like either the explanation or the sentences.... they are usefull to understand.......Congrats
Hey Master Mark, I was taken aback when I found out that I'm learning English from a teacher who holds a Master in English Education! :) No wonder all your lessons are superb and exceptional! Keep up the great work, Master Mark !!! 😄💪💪Here you are my homework, 1) This is our suggestions, you either take it or leave it. 2) There are so many online learning English channels, however neither of them are appealing to me except Mad English TV.
That's it! This is what we need to know to learn more of real-life English. Quite honestly I'd like all Japanese English learners to watch this video. Thank you for your insights.
I agree with you Mark! You're right. Another day I asked an Australian girl in what occasion I should use the word "whom" because I had learned at school, and she couldn't explain because she didn't even know that!
I studied in Mexico nursing school around 5 years and one extra as a social service at the community. During my working time I continue education to be a Intensive care nurse 👩⚕️. After ten years more continued studying for business for hospital. Thank goodness I am retired and living life after 33 years of service 😊
Hi, Mark! Thanks for the lesson. I do use "either" in my speaking. As for your question, I went to university for 5 years plus 2 years more to take a master's after getting my degree in the Spanish language.
I love your videos and this time I found hilarious how native english speakers probably think when they listen somone using "nor" and sometimes old words or grammatical structures; and I'm not too old but sometimes I enjoy using old words!😕😁. Saludos desde México!!😄
Hi Mark.iam asian from Pakistan.you just solved my confusion as i was bit confuse in EIther and neither even in pronunciation so you solved all my querries hats off to you ;)
Hi Mr Mark! *" Either I fight life's challenges or life's challenges fight me" *"Neither life's challenges, nor its difficulties will make me give up my dreams" *"Scientists will not give up their dreams. - Me neither. - Neither will I. - I will not either." Naifs's Axiom.
Hi Mark, I agree with you up to a point. Maybe it is because I am an old fashion man. On my time I studied with the BBC of London book Calling all beginners and 4 Long play ( 33 rpm). Maybe that`s why I don`t like to burn books. Today I change my way, I use the web. I must admit that it is better. But never burn a book. good by my friend
Hey,Mark, I just totally agree what you said in this lesson. Why do English teachers force their students to level up their English learning to a higher standard than natives. Neither grammar nor textbook are useless in my experience with English learning. By the way, Mark, I love the way you teach because you only explain one thing in one episode, that’s a easier way for leaners to remember. Thanks for the videos.
I'm going to take to CELPIP exam soon, I hope I can get a good rate with the help of your videos. Your teaching is so professional and easy to understand. Many thanks for your assistance. (Seyed)
Remember that high standard of English for not native English speakers is much more easer than what you proposed us to learn. All your explanation have to be same what you have studied. Then it will be helpful and easy us to remember. Make your grammar similar to your pronounce.
Thanks, you are very honest, this video is kind of funny, I like it. I have been speaking English for 22 years and I am learning a lot from your videos, you picked lots of my mistakes LOL thanks again
teacher please can u help me wht the best way use for conversation this..."you'd , you'll, you're, and you've... and could u explain also wht the different of each one... ..i hope u wanna help me that teacher... thanks .
But NOR has a additional saying… •whiskey OR wine~> not one or the other will help… •whiskey NOR wine~> whiskey will not help and ~EVEN~ wine will not…
In this lesson we learn: 5:18 "Neither… nor" is rare/nobody uses it, BUT at 14:34, an example with "neither… nor"! (BTW, in this example, there is no doubt: the singular is the answer.) to "throw our textbook in the garbage!" and "have a textbook burning party!"… What about their authors? that "students should not reach a higher standard than natives: it's not fair." that "Indefinite articles are named like this b/c we don't know what are we talking about!" :-D
It's my first time in your channel... I like it! So useful and easy way to learn some "tricks"... I got all things that you said. I don't know if it's right... But I'm learning and practicing my English!!!
Hi,Mark.I respect you much, thank you for your work.In this programm you used frasal verb ,come over, Could you make a programm about it,how many frasal verbs should I know to understand native speakers. How easily to learn them. Please, help with it.
Hi Mark! Long ago I studied 'Business and Management'. I've been studying it for 4 years out of 6. So I din't get neither the MBA degree nor any diploma. Though I got a certificate of completing 4 years. Then I had to choose either to get some job or to start up. Either would be boring for me so I did neither. I went on learning English instead. :) Thanks for your videos!

Your lessons are gold!!! Excellent material 👍
Your lesson was like honey to my soul, because many grammatical rules concerning the Subject Verb Agreement are incomprehensible.

Thank you 🏵
Hi! 😃😃That's great!
Can we use (Neither ... nor) in writing? or is it rare in writing too?
thank you teacher !
Dear Mark, I do like textbooks. Well, I learned with them.
Of course, the time that I lived in the USA, I learned to speak how to use the real English.
